Tesco phone - all sound coming through the phone?

hello,

Whenever I have this phone plugged into the usb all the sound from my pc is coming through the phone. The only way I can stop it is by unplugging it. I'm sure it's something I could change but I can't for the life of me figure out which setting it is. Thanks

common when installing a usb phone lol

go to start -device manager-sound and audio and select the audio tab and its showing now as a default device your usb device ! change this to whet ever is listed as your audio eg realtec97 or simular will sort it out.

Thanks for the link. I realise what was happening now because I only have 4 usb ports and I'm using them all so I have to unplug something to plug in the phone and that's why I kept getting the sound problems. It's weird but it feels really loose in the port whereas usually when you plug something in it feels quite secure.

you must use the same usb port everytime mind you as otherwise it will be seen as a new device in different ports ?
