Wtf is this? I just saw the video earlier on tv and it is the most awful song I have heard in a while. Why is she singing about London Bridge? What are the lyrics all about? Could someone explain this to me..?

Does anyone actually like this song?

People like it, which is really odd.

It's horrible. It's some plastic-fantastic woman singing like she's Jamaican or something.

"London Bridge" is probably some metaphor.

Saw this on TV a while ago and if memory serves me right, it actually shows Tower Bridge, not London Bridge in the video!

I've seen the video and I don't think it pays much attention to Tower Bridge. I think it emphasises London more.

London Bridge, the original, fell down which is probably what she's referring to - the song talks about making her London Bridge fall down or something.

Didn't the Americans buy London bridge years and years ago, thinking it was Tower Bridge and wanted it reconstructed in the US. Apparently they were pretty unimpressed when it arrived, as they got the bridges mixed up. I seem to remember something about this from a schook history lesson.

Ha, yup! I just checked Wikipedia:

Rebuild in Arizona

On 18 April 1968, Rennie's bridge was sold to the American entrepreneur Robert P. McCulloch of McCulloch Oil for the sum of $2,460,000. (It has been claimed that he was under the mistaken belief that he was buying the much more impressive Tower Bridge, which is often erroneously thought of as 'London Bridge' by tourists, though McCulloch himself strongly denied this.) The bridge was reconstructed at Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and dedicated on October 10, 1971. Not all of the bridge was transported to America, as some was kept behind in lieu of tax duties.

Oh wow, I thought it was something like that well done Ste for finding that out.

Dont' suppose 'My Tower Tower Tower Tower Bridge' would sound as good on the Fergie lyrics.

I'm sure I read somewhere she's referring to something else... and I actually like it.

She said she used Tower Bridge in the video because it looks better.

It is truly, truly dreadful.

I can't believe it's getting as much airplay as it is.

She's obviously using London Bridge as a metaphor for her vagina.
