Impossible to call from this early on I know but just for a bit of fun, if people had to rank the couples in the order they think they'll get voted out what would you say?!
It'll be interesting to look back on as the show progresses!

I reserve judgement until after the first show.

I've just tried to do this, based on nothing at all, as of course I don't yet know how they will dance. And I found it so depressing I've had to stop. I hate the thought of any of them going out.

But if pushed, I will put my money on Spoony going out first week.

Lilia's partner is sporty, isn't he? So he might be good. I'm afraid for Anton's partner though, because from what I can recall, comedy actresses don't do too well in this show (like Siobhan last year).

Err...Emma Bunton will probably pick up the choreography okay, but I don't know about her dancing. Carol Smilie I think will be really bad, but I have nothing to base that on, so I might be wrong. Mica Paris might be okay - she did a little bit of dancing on Sound Of Musicals, and she seemed okay then.

My guess is something like this. Its almost impossible to say I know but I thought it would be fun to see how wrong or right people's predictions are. I've no idea how good the celebrities are but its worth a guess!!

Louisa Lytton - Vincent Simone
Mark Ramprakash - Karen Hardy
Emma Bunton - Darren Bennett
Peter Schmeichel - Erin Boag
Matt Dawson - Lilia Kopylova
Georgina Bouzova - James Jordan
Carol Smillie - Matt Cutler
Ray Fearon - Camilla Dallerup
Nicholas Owen - Nicole Cutler
Mica Paris - Ian Waite
Jimmy Tarbuck - Flavia Cacace
Jan Ravens - Anton du Beke
Claire King - Brendan Cole
Spoony - Aleksandra 'Ola' Jordan

We know a man can't go out in the second week, so you will have to bet again, Latinprincess.

Edit - Ah, now I see the Jimmy Tarbuck way, way at the bottom was probably a typo. So you do indeed have a lady going out the second week. I should pay more attention.

Surely you can't start ranking them till they've danced at least once????? Give them a chance......

I'm not ranking them seriously only seeing if people's perceptions as to how they might dance and how the patnerships might work are close to reality or miles off!
That's by no means the order I necessarily want to see them in just my best estimate of how they might be

I think Matt and Lilia are in with a good chance....Hope Brendan lasts longer than week 2 though !

hope to see some different people win/in the final this year, no offence but its getting a bit boring

I hope Brendon lasts longer than week 2 as well and his popularity from Love Island should help. I'm just not sure his celebrity is as well known as some of the others and rightly or wrongly that seems to help a lot.
It would be good to see some different people at the final end of the show.
Matt and Lilia could indeed do well, I can't decide if he'll be good or not, I think they're a well matched couple though and that counts for a lot.

Professionals I would like to see in the final would be Anton, Camilla and Nicole (or maybe Karen or Matthew)

Ian, Brendan, Darren, Erin, Lillia have all made the final already, Erin all three series!!

But seriously, if the same professionals are getting in the finals each time maybe it speaks for their teaching ability, it can't all be luck can it?

it does depend on the partner they get too

Erin didn't make the final of the first series!

ok good point, she came 4th, then 3rd then 2nd. That was what I was thinking of sorry. Maybe she'll win this year, if the trend continues.

But I still would like to see all the professionals who have't already done so get a chance to be in the final.

In a nice perfect world that would be my wish.

Why don't they rest the pros and keep it to 10 couples? Are Brendan, Ian, D+L, Erin......all going to appear next year as well.
Fair enough they are great teachers and deserve it if they get their partner far but there are too many couples this time around. It will be the same people in the final. Somebody needs to be ruthless, get that red marker out and start crossing out names

And why has Darren B got another stage school person. I'm very likely Emma has the same dance training as Jill had. Completely ridiculous.

I agree it is rather unfair. The spice girls were quite a dancy band so they must have had some training. I guess Mica Paris will have had some too

Actually I always thought she seemed a bit clumsy, dance wise, in spice girl videos!
To be fair, most of the women on strictly this year have prob went to stage school or had some dance training.
Loadsa young actresses- and ex models like claire king and carol smillie -where is the token 'old woman'?????

I think Darren deserves a good partner to give him a chance this year.

Think I might change my mind, now that I've looked up Spoony.
But he'll have to dance really well to get over being probably the least known.

Actually, now I know who her dance partner actually is, I think Karen and her partner might do quite well.

After Jill, no pro has been gifted like with Jill. She trained up until 18. They could have given him a middle aged woman. It's like up and down with him. Maybe next year he'll get Nana Moon from Eastenders haha ha or Big Mo!!!!

I can't remember any Spice Girls vids I have tried my best to erase those horrors from my memory

Oh just googled Nicholas Owen. I know he who is but thought he was a bit younger.

I am surprised Nicole got him after Diarmuid (sp?)
