I know it is ridiculous to ask this so early on -but I just wondered who we all think will go first -which male celeb and which female?

I think it would be interesting to find out if our perceptions will match up!
So...............whaddya think??

hopefully Spoony. Not really a fan of him, and it's quite a bad sign when you sign him up as he's hardly a credible celebrity.

Interesting........... I still cant make my mind up Adam.
Im rooting for Emma and Darren to go far -after reading her comments on the official SCD site I think she seems quite nice and obviously terrified - apparantly her friends advised her not to do it cos they dont think her nerves are up to it!

for the guys either Jimmy Tarbuck or Spoony not sure about the girls yet

I hope it's Peter Schmeichel - can't bear him, and he's a clodhopper of a man. There are too many unlikeable types this year, IMHO. Spooney, Smiley and Schmeichel, a smug ex-rugby player and an ex-Spice - yuk.

Schmeical will have a lot of fans I reckon.
I think maybe Nicholas or Mark could go first - but then again Nicholas might get the 'Turnbull vote'!
As for the girls Im not sure -maybe someone will dance terribly and give us a shock - then again, sometimes the sympathy vote is the best way to get through!

LOL.

Well Nick doesn't do anything for me.

And it was a lot to do with Bill's wonderful relationship with Karen.

Really couldn't say who to go out first, as its not necessarily the worst dancer who goes out first sadly. Fiona stayed in til Week 4.

It can work if the judges really tear into you and you can get a sympathy vote to get you through.

It seems obvious that Tarby will go out early (so sorry Flavia) but there's no way of knowing, til you actually see how they come across on the night.

I think Jimmy Tarbuck as I dont think he will be a good dancers plus his pro partner is not as well know as some of the others

Footie players will divide audiences - he'll get zero votes from Merseyside, for example. Ramprakash is quite a dashing type who will build a following among women and men, and, like Gough, he'll train hard (and he's much more naturally athletic than Goughy). Nicholas Owen is a genuinely nice person, so, yes, he could well get a Turnbull-esque following.

Jimmy Tarbuck with a bit of luck - 'cos if I have to listen to him and Brucie being all pally pally and golfy golfy damage to the TV set may occur

I never realised about the footie players dividing people! Silly me!
Its much harder to think which of the women will go first -I dont think it will be Louisa, emma or claire first.
I like the look of Geprgina but she isnt well known and she is with a new dancer so that may work against her

I will actually cry if Nicole or Erin leave first!!! Yes, I know Sod the celebs!

I know Cat! Its the pro dancers who I enjoy watching the most! I actually vote for them as opposed to the celebs!

It's all about the professionals for me too!! I can't wait to see the Cutlers dance together again...that will be a real highlight for all dance fans and I hope they both do really well this series!!

I just wish everyone could stay in for the whole show and then just announce a winner on the final with overall viewer votes -wouldnt really build much tension but we could all see our faves week after week!
That would be nice -if extremely unlikely!
I have never seen Nicole and Matt dance together so I will look forward to it on your say so Tres Bon!

JimmyTarbuck. The thought of him and Bruce Forsythe together is too awful.

Sorry Camber but have a feeling he could last a couple of weeks.

Reckon Spoony could be a contender for the first week.

Completely agreed, off first please Brucie and Jimmy on the same programme, the temptation to kick my tv screen in might just get too strong if he lasts past the first week.

I am hoping Mark does stay around for a least a few weeks, used to rather fancy him when he played cricket

I don't agree, that is what makes the show watchable, three of them are the greatest people in the show, they are what make it for me. Schmeichel was my idol growing up and Emma B was my favourite spice and as for Matt Dawson, well he is gonna be the darren gough of SCD 4, as for Spoony I like him but I don't know all that much about him

Not entirely sure, but having read other boards it seems to be because one of the female celebs can't start rehearsing until the week before the first show so it wouldn't be fair.

What makes you think Mark? I think it will be someone older and someone with an unknown pro. Mark is a sportsman, might have a good chance to do all right.

It has to be a boy celebrity doesn't it. I'll go for DJ Spoony, he has a new professional. All the other men I thought may go first all have very popilar professionals with them. Mark has Karen, Ray Fearon has Camilla, Matt has Lillia.
Maybe DJ Spoony or Nicholas Owen. I would hate for Nicole to go out in the first week though, I missed her so much last year.

Also I don't think Jimmy will go as he may be very entertaining, although I have a feeling he will be the worst, don't know why.
