How is this going to work as they are hosting both the American (which I am watching over here) and the British version at the same time? How did they agree to that? I find it odd.

I think the US show is on Tuesday-Wednesday, and ours is on Saturday, so they'd have time to fly back between shows. Simon Cowell does it for X-Factor/American Idol.

And I think the US show is shorter (and has started 4 weeks ahead of ours), so the overlap will only be for the first half of the series.

two series in one year is overkill and would finnish SCD once a year is enough - BBC should drop the awful Dance Fever though

We've already had two series in a year. Series 1 and 2 were both in 2004.
