I don't think so but there's definitely some error going on, tried to do the same myself and it said I have $0.2 in the account when I've never used it.

I know theres a 20c freebie when you join but I used mine.

I then had zero and downloaded a couple more tracks. I expected it to stop me and ask for payment, but it didn't. My balance is now showing negative?!!?

It looks like I could download the entire catalogue if I wanted to

Keep on downloading then! I didn't know about it being a freebie, it wasn't there when I signed up and there's no mention of it on the site.

I just tried, hoping for some free music, but it won't let me download with a zero balance.

looks like they corrected the errror then
I have used it over the last couple of days and got loads of tracks that I have been after for ages. Most of them I was unable to get through Napster, and best of all you are not tied to c****y 128 kbps.
Wonder why the BMI hates this site? I don't think they have a snowballs chance of egtting it shut down, as it's under another countries rules and if those rules are applied then tough.

I'll use it, it's cheaper than any UK site and offers a bigger choice.
