Just woke up form a fantastic night watching ROBBIE . I managed to get a ticket after all friday night from some lovely chappie in Epping.

Anywoo, we arrived at 10.00 and cued up at gate 4, it was well past were we were parked but were told if you wanted a inner circle wrist band then this was the place. Sure enough a nice man came along and were giving us wristbands to the INNER CIRCLE .

I was right at the front (a bit of running to get to the front), but I was right up against the barriers and could see everything. Orson came on about 7.00 and done 1/2 hour then there was a 10 min break before Basement Jaxx came on, They were fantastic!!!, 45 mins later there was another break before Robbie came on. It goes without saying that he was brilliant. I did find the Johhy Wilko thing really tedious and saw no need for him to be there, but hey ho.

Be warned if you are lucky enough to get a wristband make sure you get your place as if you try and get to the front later you will get 'outed' , they were a ruthless bunch that were slinging out latecomers that were trying to find a space at the front.

Also the food there was very over priced £6.00 with a jacket and butter, £8.00 with one filling

I personally didnt see the need for alcohol to be served as there were a few disageements and rather drunk people about.

It was a good night, very tiring on the feet, mine still hurt this morning. But was well worth it!!

Robbie looked a bit porky i must say he had a double chin too. Oh well I'd still do him , and he looked absolutely knackered and not too well, but he carried it off superbly, Rudebox was brilliant, they were all brilliant

I absolutely agree with you about this. It is so annoying if you are sitting down and people want to go out to get a drink and then, 20 minutes later, have to go to the loo! Having paid for a ticket I would want to see the show, not get drunk (not that I ever have anyway!)

I went on Friday night and Orson werent there! We had a chap on called Coco for half an hour then Basement Jaxx were on at 7pm until 7.45 with Robbie on at 8.30.

Yes the food is ridiculously overpriced. I bought a portion of chips and a bottle of water and it came to £6.50. Then my OH went to buy two ice creams and they cost £9! Funny though, as when Robbie came on for Let me Entertain you, he was eating an ice cream and complained about the price of it lol

Ive never seen him before, but he is a wicked entertainer. We were standing to the left of the stage on the barriers by the Inner Circle so had a good view of the screen and some of the stage, but i could hardly see the stage that came out.

We had quite a few drunk girlies behind us, which was annoying as they kept shouting 'Show us your Rudebox' and expecting him to see the banner they had. My OH also ended up having to stand behind me as a girl told him she needed to lean on the barrier as she was pregnant (even though she had been drinking and smoking all afternoon)

It took us about 3.5 hours to get home, an hour to get out out of the car park itself.

I`m a great fan of Robbie`s but I have to say that in all honesty last night wasn`t his finest hour. He looked over weight and there was too much chat and not enough songs.

Even the songs he did sing weren`t sang with his usual enthusiasm. I know he is ill so perhaps that explains it. It just seemed to me that his heart wasn`t in the show.

But even "off form" he`s still a heck of a lot better than most live acts.

I think if i ever go to MK again, that's what I'll do! Lol

I went to see Take That there, but we couldnt be bothered to move as there were too many people and i didnt fancy falling on top of people trying to get up the banks but where we were standing, we could get in and out easily before the DJ chap came on.

We got wristbands aswell. We were sat right @ the top on the hill when this chap who was part of the event security etc came up to us. We were sooo excited when we got into the inner circle. It defo made our night. We would have enjoyed it regardless but we were so close we could feel the heat off the fire blowers he had on the stage. Awesome night.

It finished aout 10.15-10.30, and yes it was a nightmare trying to get out of the car park, the majority of the roads were shut of so there were hundreds of not thousands (the bowl holds 65,000 and apparently 35,000 cars were used), trying to get out,we got out about 12.30am, so it was about 2 hours to get back to the car and get out of the car park, everyone just cuts eachother up trying to get out and it gets gridlocked

I agree, that was not his finest hour and he definately wasn't on top form last night, but he did pull of a good show, I wonder why he looks as though hes gained so much weight, you'd think doing what he does and seating under all them lights he'd be smaller build, perhaps its his illness (whatever it is), he seemed to get overwhelmed with the song Angels, but then i think he always does

I too was at MK yesterday and felt that Robbie put his heart and soul into last night's show and have little to complain about regarding his own performance - for me, he's as charismatic as ever, even if he's understandably feeling quite tired at this late stage of his tour.

If I'm honest, I'm a bit disappointed that he chose to leave out two of his best tracks from Intensive Care - 'Spread Your Wings' and 'A Place to Crash' and like others, I felt that Jonny Wilkes was an unnecessary addition.

Otherwise, his classics - 'Feel', 'Let Me Entertain You' and of course 'Angels' are still up there - 'Rock DJ' and 'Tripping' are as infectious as ever and 'Make me Pure' is a beautiful song. Oh, and I didn't even mind 'Rude Box'!! I do hope that Rob rides the storm over that one.

We managed to squeeze out of the east car park by 11.45 and then spent an hour crawling along the A412 before we could get onto the M1. Frustrating and tiring - but not as bad as Knebworth though.

It certainly sounds better live but it is still a pile of sh*te!

I went to the MK bowl on Thursday and thought Robbie put on a great show!! We didn't get there til about 7pm but managed to get a spot to the left of the stage just at the bottom of the slope and I had a great view - the first concert I've been to where I had didn't have tall people stood in front of me!! The highlight for me was Angels - I've waited ages to see Rob live and it was amazing hearing the crowd singing along with him. I thought he looked ill though, his nose was bright red and kept wiping his nose! We parked in the hockey stadium just by the train station so we were back in the car and on the road by 11.15pm!

I am sorry i agree with being "outed" if you push your way in, late on in the day! Those crazy people stand there crushed together for hours & hours & then right as the main act starts you get some clever so & so's barge there way through, making it unbearably cramped & 9 times out of 10 its the ones that have been there all the hours that have to either be pulled out the crowd or have to fight there way out because of the crushing!!!

Sorry rant over!

As for Robbie, i agree He was great, Knebworth as better though, & as for the cling on Wilkes, what was the point!!!

That's about where we were on Friday night, and we had a brilliant view. We thought that Robbie looked a bit rough but even my hubbie, who only came along because he knew I wanted to go so much, was completely converted by the end of the show and said he was amazed at how much effort Rob puts into a show. We were parked in the "Denbiegh" car park, about half an hour's walk, and were out of there shortly after 11pm, but queued for over an hour on the A5 before we got to the M1. Definitely worth it though - I've always wanted to see Robbie live and was certainly not disappointed.
