A few hits and she'll disappear I reckon. Bit of a cliche but the new song is so summery-if very familiar from somewhere.

I like Smile and LDN, both nice summery tunes. I like her vocals on both.

It's a bit like the Happy Mondays or the Sex Pistol's. Shaun Ryder and John Lydon couldn't 'sing' but they still made some memorable music.

Actually I think Lily's 2 singles are better than anything the Sex Pistol's ever did as I find them enjoyable to listen to as opposed the tuneless dirges Lydon and Co. churned out.

They had a purpose. Lily Allen doesn't.

Bit harsh. It's just pop music at the end of the day. Let's not try to pretend anything else. It's certainly far from the worst thing aeound even if it is derivative.

I like her, says what she thinks, doesn't mince her words, bit like FM's really and I think she has a good voice.

No, I mean Punk (Sex Pistols) and the whole Manchester scene (Happy Mondays) had some cultural significance when they were around.

Lily Allen is just another one of these artists who doesn't really represent anything. In fact, she seemingly tried to represent some kind of "chav" life, when she's far from it.

Biggest pile of poo i've ever heard, she makes me wanna pull my ears off....but music is music and each to their own i guess.

Now that is funny Sex Pistols are still remembered 30 years after they first really arrived. Lily Allen will gone inside a year maybe 2 if she is really lucky. And BTW she gives c**p a bad name she is that awful. i'd rather hear a cat choir than her dreadful voice.

She's kinda cute in a funny kind of way - little bit annoying the way she bites her nails and plays with her hair in interviews though.

Whatever she does, she evokes some response in most people which makes a refreshing change.

Yes I agree, to a certain extent. There's nothing wrong with stirring things up and annoying the establishment, but that's all she seems to do, it’s boring and predictable. I think she should go away and work on honing her own musical skills before lambasting others all the time.

I wonder would she get through the first round of the x factor.
Shes just another hyped singer (if you can call her a singer)to make the fat cats in the music industry their money.It wont take long till shes on those worst songs ever shows.
