Agreed, heard some reviews of it the other day, I was hearing utterings of "one of the best albums in the last 20 years". Whether or not this is just usual music critic hype, or fact will remain to be soon, Hot Fuss was nothing short of amazing, so who knows?

I do like it...but I'm sure Springsteen could sue for royalties if he was that way inclined....

Is it a cover?

Adore the song.

Err, no, but it IS mightily influenced by The Boss. Having said that, if you are going to copy someone, not a bad idea to copy the best.

It's fantastic.

What is it about The Killers that makes them get better the more you listen to them?

I'm a bit disappointed about it tbh, it doesn't grab me at all. Brandon sounds a bit like a sheep too, and I can't seem to hear any strong vocal hook. Maybe I'm just not listening hard enough. Having said that, I do like the lyrics and the music.

I was disappointed too. I don't find is anywhere near as instantly memorable and infectious as Mr Brightside of All These Things I've Done.

For me it's just "OK". Unfortunately, as always, there's been allot of hype around the release of this track and the subsequent album and people are buying into it again.

I haven't heard any 'hype' or anything about the new album or single. The only thing I'd heard was my gig buddy saying he wasn't sure about going to see them as the new single hadn't grown on him yet. I happened to catch the band performing their single on tv over the weekend whilst channel hopping and I instantly liked it even though I was fully expecting to be disappointed after my friend's comments.

I'm sure there are some people out there who will like the song because they think they should, but it's not right to suggest that if you like it you've been taken in somehow.

It's completely boring.

Their last album was alright. A bit hit and miss. This song is just

(Parts of it sound like Meat Loaf, too, hehe!)

Its on MTV2 all the time. I had SKY music channels playing all day on Saturday and it was the most played video to the point of becoming tiresome. I saw it at least 8 times (had an hour off when watching the X Factor though. Eek!)

They say the devil's water, it aint so sweet.
You don't have to drink right now.
But you can dip your feet,
every once in a little while.

Maybe you should recheck these songs you know "off by hard!"

loved it the first time i heard it - when C4 aired the video a few weeks ago.

i'm a sucker for a great tune, so don't mind the meat loaf bit - worth it just to tease my wife who hates meat loaf, but won't admit that it sounds a bit like meat loaf.

an album full of songs that good, and it'll be pretty bloody good.

A soo-perb rock song. Really well produced. A band that may not completely change your life but an extremely good one at the top of their game.

I agree, it's OK. Not bad but not brilliant either. I think some people get a bit carried away with The Killers and sometimes it makes me wonder how much music they actually listen to. They're probably the 47th best indie rock band in the world .

Tickets sold out in less than 10 minutes. (I know, because I tried for half an hour. I even phoned Ticketmaster to complain that I couldn't get them only 30 mins into the sale). Unless you buy them from that well known auction site, you ain't going. I saw them for sale for €570.

The tracks great. Their first album was brilliant and I expect nothing less this time round. I think they will raise the bar even higher.
