Component on Toppy

Hello,

Does the Topfield TF5800PVR-B output Component (YUV) through the Scart Socket, or just normal RGB?

Yes it does; am watching my Toppy do it right now. Although do not expect an automatic improvement over RGB, still convenient if you do not have RGB scart on your TV or projector but do have YUV component inputs.

Hi,

Does the componenet ouput via scart on toppy give a much higher quality image or similar to HD when connecting to Component input to a plasma/Lcd?

Or does one buy a convertor that upgrades from RGB to component video?

. A convertor will make no difference to quality in this case.
