For one, I hate that vile celebs who can't control themselves from stealing other peoples partners are for some reason pitied when they go on these shows. (not including simon in that comment!)

And the other point is that as discussed they are pros already, the idea on comic relief is for non pros to have a go! Sam, Edith and Ade were a great surprise we don't want people we have heard sing live on tv and radio already!

I hope that the ratings for this will be good, if they are they may decide to do another series of the 'normal' version!

comic relief fame academy is officially confirmed on the bbc press office website,as being part of the winter line up. I cant wait, i hope there is going to be a normal series soon.

I wouldent be suprised to see patrick keilty do it but Cat is doing alot of presenting over in america now,i dont know if she would agree to it.

Maybe they will just have one presenter this time,or maybe they will get someone like Fern Cotten to present it alongside Patrick?

Cat is gonna be Friday Night with Jonathan Ross this Fri 15th Dec. Maybe one of them will mention it! Unlikely tho but you never know.

im thinking filming of 'so you think you can dance' maybe starting around march,as the show will air in the 1st week of june.I think they may have to replace Cat, i hope if they have to replace her theyll give the job to Claudia winkleman.

Yes, i think Claudia is great and she knows alot about Fame Academy because she presented the BBC3 coverage of it.
She has been soooooo funny on strictly come dancing:it takes 2.

I just worry that if she presented the main show she wouldent be as entertaining,because everything would have to be scripted and serious,it may not suit her.

Edith could do it - she has lots of TV presenting experience,, is interested in the charities knows her music , will backchat Richard and has actually done/won the thing. Only problem would be resisting the presure to sing because she might look better than this year's crop.

I think it'd feel strange if Edith was to host.

I think it would be funny if Edith was to present it.....it would give a continuity to the last celebrity FA, In fact it might be better if both Cat and Edith did it together, and cut out Patrick Kielty!

I'd love it FA was great and should never have been taken off-air. If it's the celebrity format, I'll still watch! The embarassment I feel for the "stars" is hilarious

I would love to know how they can explain not doing FA because it is derivative when they have Just the Two of us and CFA doing the same thing with celebriities weeks apart, and another new "talent" show featuring singing dogs or whatever and the follow on to How do we solve the problem of Maria - how do we sell tickets for Joseph and his coat.

Anyone who actually watched FA live knows that FA was by far the most educational show of any of them (and they could easily make it more so) and its format is objectively no nearer to X factor than any other BBC talent show. It seems you can only sing on the BBC if you are a celeb.

I hope this is true, I'd love to see FA come back, far superior to the pantomime that X-Factor has become.
