Thanks but I can be watching something in 16:9 and then, next day, the Topfield has changed itself to 4:3 with no intervention by me unless I have inadvertantly pressed something (but definitely not in the menu).
Mmmm?

The zero press changes the menu setting; you do not have to actually go to menu; that is what often causes this problem as accidental presses are so easy.

That must be it then.
Strange operating logic to me.
I'll stay clear of the 0 button.
Thanks.
It's happening to me also as of late. Definitely nothing is being pressed at the time and I've not changed my TV set up.
Could it be Transmitter dependent, I'm on Winter Hill?
The only other thing that's changed in my Toppy set up recently is that I downgraded the firmware whilst the Mux 1 reboots were occuring and I've yet to 're-upgrade'
Could it simply be that the Toppy has switched to 4:3 to display a 4:3 broadcast? I love the fact that my Toppy switches like that as it's the only way I can get the whole of a 4:3 picture to display on my 16:9 TV without messing about in the TV settings!
