Problems with wi-fi
2 days ago we had a power cut. When the power went back on I rebooted the Homechoice box and my Linksys WRT54GS router. I had been running this setup wirelessly for four months without any problem, but now my pc won't connect to the internet wirelessly. However, if I use a cable (either straight to the Homechoice box or to my router) the internet connection is fine. I took my router back, exchanged it, but am experiencing exactly the same problems.
I am quite technically savvy, but this is bemusing - anyone experienced anything similar? Thanks in advance Tom |

You need to find the option on your router to renew the IP lease, which makes sure your box has a correct IP address assigned.
There'll be an option for this buried in the setup screens somewhere - on my Netgear it's a fairly prominent button on the Connection Status page. |
