ooh, it sounds brilliant, very beautiful, I'm really enjoying the piano one at the end. I love their first album too. That's definitely another one to add to my list! When is it out?

Fallen was excellent, but Open door on first listen to them previews sounds too different. Not enough melody in the guitars, too grungy.
Losing Ben Moody could be a mistake. |

I didn't at first.
Give it some time.. after a few listens, thats when I started to love it. The difference was too weird at first for me. |

That's not going to help sales much, if you can get it in decent quality for free.
it sounds pretty good to me. |

I think it's brilliant. It's much closer to their sound from the pre-'Origin' days. You'll be dissapointed if you're expecting it to be just like Fallen.

"Fallen" is one of my favourite ever albums, and I'm not usually into that type of music. It's just a really great album.

"Call Me When Your Sober" and "Good Enough" are the only tracks that really stood out to me

I'm dissapointed with this album. Think it's defo a "grower" need to listen to it more.
Does anyone know when Ben Moody is due to release some stuff or new album? |

On first listen, it sounds ok but it's not exactly what I was hoping for.
It's hard to explain what I was hoping for, I guess I was really looking for more songs like Imaginary (the Fallen version.) I like most of the songs on Origin and Fallen but Imaginary really stands out to me. It just seems really dramatic, makes good use of Amy's voice and I personally think it's a good song musically. I think there was potential to develop the basic concepts behind the song further into an album but they haven't chosen to go in that direction. I suspect I'll still like the album once I've given it a few listens. |

QUite interesting on first listen , loved the previous album for about first 20 listens now can't listen to more than a couple of tracks not sure why.. The only thing I'd say is that the new one sounds very Lacuna Coil esque

What's with all the Evanescence hype lately? To any Evanescence fans out there who don't yet have the new album - just download the inlay for it and print it off, and then glue it onto the front of their last album with Pritt stick or similar generic sticky substance and then insert the cd into your cd player and voila!
It's the same old shite as before. They just nicked the tunewheels from their old album. |

I enjoyed the releases from the first album - that was it really.
I listened a few times but just could not get into it at all. Just listening to this new album....im' on the third track and erm....not that impressed. (probably why the album is being plugged for a pre-release listen i guess) |
