yes maye i started a thred about 4 down with the same comments here http://forum.digitalspy.co.uk/board/...d.php?t=466063

its like you want to crank it up 3 more bars but on max vol its very quiet, unlke my linksys ata logged into talk with a dect phone the volume is superb - so its a hub/phone problem not talk. i like you just received my hub phone so i though i'd link it to the hub and register and try it, which gave exactly same results as you ! very little earpiece volume when already on maximum, maybe they will release a firmware upgrade to increase it. makes you wonder though why when it was on test before release to the public it was passed ok ! and before anyone asks no i'm not old nor deaf !

I would guess they have put the gain really high to avoid echo and that is causing the low volume.

It's a big problem with VoIP and one I have yet to get to grips with. I had to set my Sipura ATA with high gain to get rid of echo and it was quiet. My IP phone is better so far (Grandstream GXP2000).
