"VoipCheap
Great news for all our customers:

We decided to drop the expiry dates for credit. That means your credit will last for ever!

And it gets even better: From now on buying credit entitles you to 120 "Freedays". This means you can call,
for a period of 120 days (unless stated otherwise), all destinations marked as "Free" for free!
When you have run out of Freedays, you can call these destinations at a minimal rate. "

An extra 30 free days!!

I haven't bought anymore credit myself yet but it does say 120 free days if you go to voipcheap.com, the above was a copy and paste. God knows what they are playing at. I will most likely spend my 10 euros on cheap mobile calls before 90 days is up anyway.

If you go to the news section it does state 90 days there. The 120 days must be a mistake/con then.

VOIP Cheap calls are now 1p per min to the UK. So you'll quickly use up that credit!

Only after your freedays have ended, and then 1c per min so €10 is 1000 minutes. I dont want to spend that long on the phone

Wrong! Have you looked at their website today? The UK is no longer a free destination:

Australia free*
Belgium free*
Chile free*
Cyprus free*
Denmark free*
Estonia free*
Germany free*
Hong Kong free*
Italy free*
Japan free*
Luxembourg free*
Malaysia free*
New Zealand free*
Norway free*
Panama free*
Puerto Rico free*
Russian Federation free*
South Korea free*
Spain free*
Sweden free*
Thailand free*
United States (+mobile) free*

No sign of the UK anymore.

I just went on Voipcheap.coms site and it does say that the U.K is a free destination. I've also just rang a landline and it said that the call is free.

Have a look at:

http://www.voipcheap.co.uk/en/free.html

I guess it depends on whether you're signed up to voipcheap.co.uk or voipcheap.com

Thats right, all my voipcheap.com uk calls are still free.

voipcheap.com and voipcheap.co.uk are different brands of the same company - in fact they have about 10 brands - see http://www.voipproducts.eu/betamax-rates/

Has anyone bought credit recently? How many free days did you get? 90 like me, or the stated 120?

There are a load of discrepancies on the voipcheap.com webpage. The HK mobiles are stated as free on the main page but 1p in the rates page. It still says 90 days free calls on the home page but 120 when you first login.

I thought there was something funny going on here as well, my Daughters use it so its hard to keep track whats going on with it , recent top up was £11.60 for £10 credit and uk landlines seem to be costing a penny a minute, no mention of free days, in fact I am kinda getting fed up with it, my voip phone does not work properly and cant get a driver Re keypad etc, and to many calls are ruined with echo.

Regards
Cablag.
