New Contract - Help!!

Hey

My contract runs out this month so i thought i would post and ask to see if any of you guys knew who was giving the best deals/offers at the moment, or if you have any advice on where i should look to find good deals/offers?

I'm willing to spend up to £30ish and at the moment im on a contract with T-Mobile(UK) but i only get something like 100 txts and 200 mins for £28!!! which is ridiculous although i did sign in to it 18 months back and it appeared worth it at the time lol!

18 months ago that would have been pretty good value.

There are so many variations out there.

18 month contract:

O2 - 400mins 100 text - £30

Orange - 500mins 500 text - £35

12 month contract:

O2 - 250mins 100 text - £30

Orange - 250mins 250 text - £35

With some searching you should be able to better those deals above.

T_mobile Flext tariff is what you need - £30/ month for £180 worth of allowance. That's 1800 texts if you use it all on just texts, or 900 Mins to anyone, anytime, or a combination of both - say 450 mins and 900 texts. Decent free handset too.

Go here and check it out/order online or call 0845 412 5000 and speak to them.

Sorted!

And as you are already with T-Mob, they will probably give you a bit more of an allowance!

Keep ur sim and number, change tariffs and have a new phone sent out to you. You are in a really strong position with them right now, use it to your advantage!

There are also some excellent deals available with 3 - and while some DigitalSpy contributers do have negative opinions about this network, there is an increasing amount of DS'ers that are finding out for themselves just how good three are when paired up with a decent handset (unlike the old LG's and NEC pieces of sh*t they used to provide). yeah i was thinking of trying flext but the phone i want (w850i) isnt out yet so would it be worth waiting for it or do i have no chance of them letting me have one if i change tariff?

have just bought a tesco extra mobile sim(02)network,so good coverage if you top up £15 a month texts are 5p each,and calls to any network 10p per minute,and if you top up online you get 10%off on regular top ups so a fifteen pound top up costs you,13.50,not bad value and you are not tied to a contract.i had a contract previously but find this much more flexible oh and i forgot if you register before the second week in october via a clubcard you get 1,000 free texts at 100 texts a month for ten months..

yeH I Hd noticed that most payg deals are really good now, only problem is having to pay out £300+ for a new phone

either have your current phone unblocked to operate on any network,t-mobile should unblock it with a code or like me buy a sim free phone i got a sim free sony ericsson k750i from amazon.co.uk for ?£148 including express delivery! i can now buy a sim for any network hope this helps.

Online stores are saying the W810i is available now.

With the above tariff, if I have read it right, you get the Sony W810i for nought. Try the handset upgrade route first, with the Flext tariff. If you have no luck there, just take out another contract, cancel the contract you have now, the only downside is, I don't know if you will be able to keep your number, it's a bit different than swapping service providers and requesting a pac code.

A bit of hassle if you lose your number I know, but at the end of the day you have a free £200 phone, the one you wanted, and a good tariff.

Just had T-Mobile on the phone, and they have asked me if i would be interested in a k800i, bluetooth headset, move over to flext 35 plan and 1/2 price line rentalfor the duration of the contract - there going to phone me back at 2:30 to see what i want to do, what would you guys do?
