He will be doing a signing of his new autobiog on 7th oct at WH Smiths,Kingston. Anyone else going?

Thats a shame.
Met him this afternoon,and wow is all I can say Signed our book to Claire,Stuart and Ben. Said Ben was cool,got a piccy with him,he shook our hands and I said it was lovely to meet him and wished him a happy birthday for next month and he said "bless you,thank you darling" and that was that Even lovelier in the flesh and soooo charming

Hopefully the taunton one will be re-scheduled, well that's what they said anyway.

Is there a list anywhere where he is appearing? I've googled but can't see anything.

I only got the book yesterday, but hooked already.

I really hope you get to meet him It was purely by chance that I found out about the Kingston signing,as I saw a poster advertising the signing in WH Smiths window a couple of weeks back. Had a quick look to see if he has a website with any dates on,but he doesnt seem to have an official one

couldn't get there last Friday, but Gordon did. The staff today all said how charming he was and what a nice chap he was to everybody.
that's 2 of his books autographed now - going to Good Food Live in November when he is doing cookery demonstations.

He will be at Borders Book shop in Glasgow on the 31st October between 1pm-2pm.

I don't think i will be able to make it due to work but i did notice there is a telephone number you can get a signed copy reserved for you.Of course it isn't the same meeting him.

Welllll,

I arrived early, but it was so busy I still had to queue outside in the freezing cold. Pah, did i care? Once he'd arrived i decided to have a sneaky peek inside, it was a good job i did as it was then i realised my camera batteries had run out, even though I'd checked before I left home. Bought some more & I was ready for the leather jacketed beast.

My turn came & I was all a dither. He said "lovely to see you darlin' " and seriously I thought I'd pulled . I told him I'd watched last night & if heather had started her job at her new restaurant in vegas. He said "funnily enough she's just started on the 1st nov", he then proceeded to tell me the timescale for HK. Filmed 2 months june/july then 3 months which takes you to October. All the while he was saying this he was staring intently into my eyes. After he finished all I could say was "righhttt". What a pratt!

THEN I became a bit embarassing and held his hand and said " I love you soooo much" He said something like thanks for coming, lovely to see you & no doubt gave the "nutter alert signal" to the HUGE security man. I nearly asked for a kiss but managed to restrain myself.

We weren't allowed to have any pics posed with him, but the staff took our cameras & took pics whilst we got our books signed.

All in all a lovely day especially as I was off sick from work

Hope you're feeling better now, by the way - although I'd guess that having The Ramsey look into your eyes would do you more good than a Lemsip

Glad you had a lovely time. PMSL at "leather jacketed beast" He's totally different to how he comes across on screen eh? I must admit I was tempted to ask him to tell me to "**** off"!!! Hehe
