Has anyone got tickets for her tour?

I wasn't thinking of going, but have just found out that the best seats are at least £76!!

With that and Christina Aguilera's tickets being £75, ticket prices are obviously on the increase.

Anyone else think £76 to see Beyonce is slightly over-priced?!

SLIGHTLY is an understatement.....£76 for a singer who is only on her 2nd solo album is way OTT....

when you consider established artists such as the red hot chili peppers only charged £40, then this puts it in perspective

id never pay more than £50 to see any band,no matter how much i liked them

I can't believe she is charging that much, seriously! What is it lately with American artists completely over-charging for their tour?

I'm waiting for Justin Timberlake to announce dates, but the more I hear about stuff like this, the more worried I get about the prices he'll be charging.

What price to the tickets actually start at?

Also its not as if she isnt an established artist, sure she is only on her 2nd solo album but with DC she has been around for about 10 years, doesnt justify the prices really but just wanted to add that in lol

They are £36 - £76 + booking fees from the NEC Box Office site. Ironically, the two highest sets of expensive seats are already sold out according to the site!

Oh yeah, I know what you're saying. I still don't see how she can justify charging that much for an individual ticket. At least with DC you are paying to see three performers together, not just a solo artist.

It's crazy!

No Doubt it will be a spectacular show though, that will be the official reason, to have to cart about the set because having seen live performances from beyonce before, they always seem to be quite spectacular.

Imagine what price they wil be on ebay lol, thousands if they inflate like others have in the past lol

Totally agree with the original poster about exorbitant ticket prices. Most of the gigs i go to only cost about 15-20 pounds. I've been to one or two shows at around 75-100 pounds.
I always come out feeling cheated to be honest.

Is it because she's a greedy bitch whose more interested in a balance sheet than a song sheet?.....it would certainly be one explanation for her woeful music.

Beyonce is an icon of our time and has written many amazing songs really, Bootylicious, Survivor, Independant Women, Crazy In Love to name a few.

Its probably more her management etc wanting to charge more and get her on lists like the most money made by a touring artisit that the likes of the rolling stones and Madonna always seem to top.

The horn riff for Crazy In Love was actually written by the late Eugene Record of The Chi Lites (and originally charted over 30 years ago). Bootylicious is a sample of Stevie Nicks' Edge of Seventeen, Survivor was mainly composed by Anthony Dent. The main writers of Independent Women Pt1 were Samuel J. Barnes & Jean Claude Oliver. Beyonce gets co-writer credit, which is something I never really take seriously when I see it.

As for the prices, I'd rather see a band or artist that lets the substance of their music and performance speak than the vastness of their effects and stage-show. I saw U2's Zoo TV tour many years ago at Wembley Stadium, and quite frankly may as well have watched it at home on the telly.

I paid £9 to see The Datsuns at the Wedgewood Rooms in Portsmouth earlier this year, just a band on stage kicking ass, worth every penny.

Vote with your feet, if you think it's too expensive, don't buy it.

It seems it's the American artists who seem to be charging the most, Lionel Richie, Beyonce, Christina etc, I fully expect Timberlake to follow suit.

Just don't give all these dross American "stars" your cash.
The dire R&B/Soul shite they serve up should not find an audience in Britain.

Bring back punk/britpop/electro/rock I say

Christina Aguilera is well worth the price, Beyonce and her lip-synching is not!

And I thought Madonna's prices were bad enough! Say you've got two kids who want to see Beyonce, with one parent taking them and thus buying three tickets by the time you add on the booking fees etc in many cases you're looking at a weeks wages just for tickets, never mind travel costs, food etc.! How many people can reasonably afford or justify paying that??

I don't think Christina is worth the price at all, to be honest. Yes, I've paid £75 for a ticket to see her (well, actually my mum offered to buy one for me as my birthday present, lol) but I still think she is charging way too much. The last time I saw her it cost me £35 and I had better seats then, than I've got now! It doesn't make sense.

Is there some other Beyonce I don't know about? I can't even recall ONE performance that Beyonce (solo, not Destiny's Child) mimed to...although she does have a habit of just singing the verses and ad-libbing, and just dancing to the chorus.

Anyway, as it's standing only on the floo rfor both Christina and Beyonce , I got tickets for both on the block nearest the stage about half-way up for only £40...not bad, I don't think. It IS an arena afterall and the set will no doubt be massive... You can see where the £150 p/ticket was spent on Madonna's set...! Or is this London only where it's extortionate pricing?
