I think she will sail through to the final 12

My only problem with her is she went to the mariah carey school of singing and dose too many vocal gymnastics which she dosent need to do.

I really like her. I hope that she gets through next week.

I thought she was amazing, an absolute natural, the best person they put through, she does maybe need to tone down the vocal pyrotechnics but I'm sure the coaches will work on that.

Isnt she the singer who has already had an album out before and a record contract? Think I read it in the Daily Star a month or so ago.

She has made an album at some point, but it has never been released, I think she may have funded it herself. It was Avenue that had deliberately not disclosed a deal with Ashley Tabor who put them together specifically for the show.

I like her song "Loving You" on her myspace she is a very talented woman, It's time for a female winner and hopefully it will be Leona.

She was very good technically, and perhaps the most professional in her approach, but her style leaves me cold.

It's all about the voice for me, and Leona's got a fantastic one. She sang "Hero" on last night's show (from what we heard) effortlessly.

Leona and Nikita are my two favourites at the moment.

I hope this isn't a bad sign but leona has been leaving messages to people on myspace but says she can't say anything about the show, I really hope she makes it.

Leona Lewis has spent a big chunk of the last 2 years songwriting in LA putting together her debut album, honing her songwriting and vocals working with some of the worlds top producers R+B has to offer. Leona was recently featured high in the club and radio charts with the underground smash promotional single 'Private Party' featuring Ludacris, AA sided with SWV's 'I'm so into you' and had another club favourite with 'Sugar Sweet' featuring Tah Mac who himself is currently riding the video charts with Royston on 'Make Your Body Shake'. Leona makes a guest appearance in that video along with Estelle.

I still think this girl has had too much help already and is on her way in the business as is proved above. I would rather see a winner that has NOT already recieved such honours win. Dreaming I know, but, one boyband have already got booted just for having a management deal and no recognised previous success, yet Leona is already well known in the business.

I know that no one will agree and tell me all about the other "Known" contestants from the past but I never agreed with their entry either!
It is afterall, in my view, a showcase for undiscovered talent, Leona for one, according the review above, is not undiscovered. Talented yes, agreed.

I disagree, its shown that Leona has worked her socks of and will mean that if she wins she will put her whole soul into it.
Many people which gets on my nerves, say that Xfactor is their last chance (mainly under 25s),the people I feel for are the ones that work night and day to earn money to afford to got to a music audtion, many Xfactor kids they think the industry is a doss and therefore don't give a real shot.
When we vote Leona winner, we will get our moneys worth.
Look out of all the under25s she has worked the hardest and therefore deserves success.
Im sorry, but the only reason she has had 'help' is because she has asked for it and not seen the audition and thought I wouldnt mind that.

It looks like she has had about 10X more messages of suppourt on her myspace than she normally gets, so im quessing she is trying to reply to as many as she can, she would have been told she cant say anything either way, particuly on something as public as myspace.

If you look at some of the comments she has replied to i would say it sounds like she is through to the top 12.

I am starting to think the same way. She is talented but I have heard more than enough songs from her posted on several links.

I think she's the only one in the whole competition with the potential to win it. If I were a betting woman, my money would be firmly on her.

I disagree too, Leona looks like she has been part of many music projects has worked hard writing her own songs and she still hasnt achieved a record deal, thats just shows how hard it is to make it in the industry.
