Im pretty sure her biog has been edited as well plus most of the orginal songs that were on her music player have gone.
I would imagine she was told to remove them by someone from the show, either that or she looked on here or a similar forum and was worried about people thinking she was too experienced.

Thats the problem with this country if your rubbish they slate you and if you really good they slate you for being too professional you cant win.
X factor is a show for talented singers and thats what leona is, just because shes had a little history in music and worked hard to be where she is you call her too professional.

You are totally missing the the point, it is, how hard has she actually worked or how hard someone else worked on her behalf?
I have no problem with Leona's talent, but for one, I do not like the thought of being hoodwinked into believing people have "allegedly" worked every hour that god has sent them to get where they are, especially when there signs of what can only be seen as proffessional help involved.
The boyband were ditched for having a contract alone, not because they had already aquired quite a lot of publicity, experience or becasue they just happened to have a CD recorded in LA sat there waiting to be released in conjunction with their XFactor appearances.

I agree. Her experience in the music industry is mysteriously vanishing from various sites. I would expect that the programmes producers are doing this.

They boyband were not ditched just because of the contract its because they lied in the application, and they were dropped anyway from there management contract.
So what is X-factor?? Its the most help an artist can ask for.
The music industry is a very hard place to be in, you cant go to a record company any more with just talent. You mostly have to have a finished album you have made yourself, and promoted yourself. Because of all the downloading going on record companies see signing artists without this a huge risk.
Yes Leona has worked on many projects but has never released or had a record deal. You make no money from these projects thats why they work and do the music at the same time, no hand out involved.
Take X-factor for example the prize is a £1,000,000 recording contract, firstly you dont recieve 1 million all that money goes on the people who make the album, advertising, album design, videos, living costs etc. And when your album is released you dont get a penny until youve paid back the 1 milliion so intheory your in debt before you start.
And nobody is trying to hoodwink you these are facts, artists cannot get anywhere without working hard, because there are so many out there that do.

Agree with xfactor04/05/06 this is an appreciation thread plus so what if Leona has worked hard and made music before it's not as if she had a hit in the charts is it Leona is not the only one who has done something in the past I am sure just a quick one Raymond = actor, Kerry = actress, Ashley = model. Let's just see how things go and judge on talent this year please.

Yes it is but its an appreciation thread not a put down thread.
I cant tell you what she has done and you cant say what she hasnt done.
All i am saying is that no 1 can give people talent, they have to work for it, yes it is nurtured but talent has to be there is the first place for that to happen.
Leona has some experience, but experience doesnt just fall into your lap you have to earn it and work for it. Any one of the x factor contestents can do the same but they havent.

I am not trying to put her down, I have already said that she is talented. It is a thread on a public forum, no matter what the title trys to prevent people stating in their responses.
If you cannot say what she has done and you cannot prove what she hasnt, then discuss within the thread, do not pass it off as if it is unimportant or pure malicious chatter. It is a point of view.
As to the others being able to do the same as Leona, that is the point in question that has been raised, why and how has she achieved her already documented success. What proffesional help has she already had.
No one doubts what she has achieved, who is gaining from any help put her way and why has everything remotely proffesional looking been removed from her site and others? Nothing is free.

Thats fine but this is an appriciation thread set up for leona to be appriciated, I get the feeling that you think because she has some history in music she doesnt have a right to be in the competition?
And for her sucess, well she hasnt released an album, has never had a record deal, so x factor is a very good platform for her.

thing is 10 of the acts are not even in the same league as, so the minority are trying to find something about her why she can't win. You going to be angry as Chico has been doing clubs for years before Xfactor, (many others that have got far in previous shows, also have had much more help)

The cd was recorded over two years ago, it had nothing to do with x factor.
If people have put themselves out in the past to help her then theres probobly a good reason for that, because they reconised talent in her.

Huh, where are you getting this from??? I have told you already that that group got booted off for lying on there application they already had a deal, leona does not.
A cd release in conjunction with the show?? Man you need to sort out your sources, You cannot be in x-factor if you have a deal or about to release songs its brakes the contract.
So what are you talking about??
I do know alot about the industry, of course she did the hard work, no 1 in the industy is going to do it for you, so what about the professional help what is up with you, I think you need to sort out this personal vandetta.
