Argue her defence?? Is she on trial, so she has a music background so what, X-factor is a professional show and requires professional people and talent.

The point is she has had previous music projects and has never achived a record deal so sees the x-factor show as a place to showcase her talents.

Totally agree, people would want to be associated with her because she has a talent.

But obviously not enough to have ever been signed as a commecial artist, even with all of the innocent associations you are telling she has had.

We can no doubt now look forward to more of the "Leona is a secretary" rubbish that we have already got, making out she has not already achieved a lot and has only ever had such a mundane job.
Judging by the amount of info removed in the last few days from her site and others about her, some people are obviously worried about the publics perception of her during the show.

The thing is she is a receptionist, Any recording she dose is in her spare time and they dont need to tell us about it.

there is almost no such thing as a undiscovered talent nowadays.
they all would have likely done something before(although Shaun may be an exception).

Either like her as a singer and how she presents herself or don't.

Personally, I think she looks divine and sounds fab too.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Shaun......He has taken a fair bit of stick for his nerves etc, Leona is on the opposite end of the scale but this apparently leads to make her immune to any comments and questions about her.

As said now MANY times before, I do like the small amounts I have heard of her voice, but I have not been swayed to listen to her recorded internet released stuff to base my opinion on her, many others are doing and this will, but should not, have any bearing at all on the show voting, which forms a part of my original points.

Fantastic voice! She has the talent to win the competition, the only problem is that she seems very shy, and could get overshadowed by the louder contestants.

Hey maybe you should create a myspace fan page aswell because your good at that sort of thing. Most x-factor peeps do, Ive seen ashleys, but now we need a Leona fan page, what do you think?

Well the website should be up soon I will try and do a myspace before long then, We need more members on the forum but I suppose it will be alot easier once the main site is up and after the first live show.
