Hi,

I have a Panasonic phone and have recently moved back to BT after a stint with TalkTalk.

However, my phone seems to have stopped receiving SMS messages as it used to - they now come through as a phone call with that lady reading it out to you rather than just appearing on the handset like a mobile phone.

Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

you probably need to ask BT to switch on caller id.

Ah - sorted.

All I had to do was send a text from the house phone to anywhere which triggers the system!
