Certain mp3 files cause iPod to restart
I have some tracks i recently imported into iTunes(from CD), they play fine in itunes(and any other media player), but two(of 3) cause my ipod(30GB video) to restart.
They don't affect other ipods(tried on friends). I have tried everything i can think of... *re-imported them and re-synced *restored firmware+synced again(when i did this, they worked until i put it into standby, and they caused restarts again) *Given them different ID3 tags Is there anything else i can do, or should i claim on my insurance(runs out in november)? Thanks for your help DOS |

I thought that may be whats wrong, but everything else(including other ipods of the same type) still play them fine.
Think i'll call the insurance people to see if it needs fixing. Thanks DOS |

Took it back today, and they swapped it. Only problem was every PC World store in the uk was out of the black ipods(waiting for new 5.5G's), so i ended up getting an ex-display black 60gig for the same price(+new warranty, accessories, etc).
