Has anyone noticed that the BBC SCD site has been jazzed up. It looks lovely!

I agree it does look a lot better

Looking at the online poll I know you can't go by it but so far its not looking too good for Jimmy Tarbuck this week

It's a shame the BBc don't do a better job. You click on Camilla and up comes Erin!! It is about time it was brightened up though.

Click on Nicole you get Brendan

I like the look of Claire King with Brendan and Emma Bunton with Darren.

and Jan Ravens doing Arlene Phillips impressions

Appart from a few errors, they've done a good job. About time the site was given an update, all ready now for the new series. Not long now.

Much better, even with the few mistakes.

Pity the galleries from the previous series have gone, but perhaps we can persuade the BBC to put them back?

I like the competition to win tickets. I will watch ITT very carefully and send in my answer every week, fingers crossed.

Nothing against Jimmy personally, but why did he have to be Flavia's partner??? I really like her and wanted to see more of her fabulous dancing...

I am quite surprised Spoony is second favourite to leave, I would have thought he would be quite popular

The poll might not be very reflective because it isn't asking who you want to save on Saturday. So there could be plenty of people who vote to save Jimmy and Flavia on Saturday night- on past experience, if they come bottom, that will probably be the case...

I doubt Jimmy will be that popular, but the poll doesn't tell you who people will vote for, which is what matters.

So all trace of the previous series' has been erased?
I can understand they would want to get rid of the video clips but everything is gone, I had them bookmarked now the pages aren't even working.

That poll could have been worded better like who do you think will not who should. It's like saying don't even bother turning up Jimmy and Flavia we don't want you already. Not so bothered about Jimmy but poor poor Flavia. It's on the official site!

I don't like the poll. Before anyone has even danced a step.

Let's hope that Jimmy dances like a dream, and we have a real competition on our hands.

What is the point of people dancing their little hearts out if the votes are being cast before a step is taken!

Yes it is pointless. How can we possibly know, which of the celebs can dance or not, until we've had the chance to see them?

Yeah... I agree about the poll. I chose not to vote as there is NO-ONE I want voted off.... especially seeing as at this particular moment it would on your least favourite celebrity or least favourite dancer... I think a better poll to have would have been "Who do you think is going to be the best celebrity dancer?" Each year I think the celebrities have surprised us.... people like Carol Vorderman and Fiona Phillips being soooooo bad! I thought they might have been quite good until I watched. This year I am holding out no expectations for any of them until Sat night! hehehe

I agree that a poll at the moment before we have even seen anyone dance is unfair. It is making it a popularity contest rather than a dancing one.

Do they usually have polls on the official site?

They've tidied up the mistakes, and added extra pictures to the Gallery. Looks good.

If you don't like the sound of CRH's "woefuls" and Brucie's jokes you can listen to expert commentary

http://www.bbc.co.uk/strictlycomedan...04/36756.shtml

During the show, Freeview, digital satellite and digital cable viewers can press the red button on their remote to listen to thoughts and comments from former professional dancer Philip Jackson, now a professional teacher and judge.
Great idea!

ITA! I feel exactly the same way.

I adore Flavia's dancing.

Great idea about the expert commentary on digital.

Like Len's dance tuition, just wish they'd get the picture quality a bit better, he seems to morph on this screen.

i mean no disrespect to Philip, but thought a top competing pro would have been better for the show, though philip does judge week in week out

""I agree that a poll at the moment before we have even seen anyone dance is unfair. It is making it a popularity contest rather than a dancing one"".

The problem is that it always is and always will be a popularity contest unless they don't allow the GBP to vote. (Just look at the kid from Eastenders who was dreadful but got into the first final!) The poll now will reflect the popularity of the contestants in general, later and in the phone poll it will be partly that and partly how we come to like/lust over/enjoy the contestants on the show, only some of which is down to the dancing ability. .. and the popularity of the pros to some extent too - Fiona only made it as far as she did last series cos of the Brendan factor!
