I'm interested to know if anyone on here has received their tickets for Saturday yet. They would normally be sent out at least a week before. In fact does anyone know anyone who has tickets to go!!

Just curious after the fiasco of trying to get through!!!!

i assume you are one of the lucky ones who got thru on the phone??? If so, do you have a garenteed entry ticket, or will you have to queue? I went last year and queued all afternoon to get in!

have you been before? if not I can give you info of what happened last year.

You can't start a thread with those words. I came here assuming someone was giving some away! Don't get my hopes up like that!

if you don't have garenteed entry be prepare for a long wait. Last year with the show starting at 6.30pm the studio doors opened at 5.30, I think we got into the beeb about 4.30 / 4.45 ish, but had queued since 2pm - I imagine it will get earlier (and sillier). Take warm clothes for outside, glam for inside - there is a cloke room to leave junk, chair, umbrella, etc, take food, there is a bar and some refreshments in side but not a lot, loos are in side. I would suggest the tube as parking is a nightmare round there, but there are some central line engineering works so check if it affects that part (White city tube). They will give you a kit kat and 200ml orange juice in between shows!!!!!!!

Other than that, do take a camera - not for during the show, but afterwards, the prof dancers love it, and take your strictly book, you'll get some signatures. When I went we all hung around on the floor at the very end - the studio people try to get you out, but they don't try very hard, and as I said the dancers (esp Anton) love it all.

For this I expect a FULL report !!!!!!!

Good luck and enjoy. Try your best to get seats upstairs as the view is better - no cameras in the way. And it gets hot in the studio - all those lights!

It seems sadly those with tickets just want to brag about having them, but keep the info of how they get them to themselves and not share with the rest of us. Bad attitude!

I didnt get the tickets my friend did, and she got them through a friend. Im sorry I havent given an update or anything busy with college work at atm. Will just say it was the best night ever, it was amazing to actually be their. cant believe how small the studio is it looks huge on tv. It was amazing though, to actually see it all happen before my eyes, really enjoyed myself and wow it was an experience in a lifetime i will never forget. It was good waiting all those hours to we just danced around then the time came to go in. we saw loads of celebs and dancers didnt speak to hardly any of them, spoke to Darren, Lilia, Erin, Peter, Brendan think that was it.

And please dont say its Bad Attitude its called being busy.

The tickets for all the shows went in less than a day when they became available 2 weeks ago and the phone number was on this forum.

Apparently there were over 150,000 applications.

I think the Bad Attitude comment was referring to people not saying how to get tickets.

There were lots of posts about tickets at the time they were made available so its not a bad attitude at all. All the tickets were allocated within 4 hours of them being released back in September. It is not possible to get them now, unless you win official Strictly Come DAncing competitions. People are not bragging about having them and then not explaining how they got them at all.

Lots of people spent a long time on the phone and were very disappointed to not get any. I was put on the list for tickets in Dec but wont know for weeks whether I've got any.

What time did you have to queue from?

You're right, the studio is so small, but what a fantastic evening you'll have had, the ones I went to will be in my memory for ever.

where did you get to sit?

You were queueing from 9:30AM?!?

When did you actually get into the building? Were you the first in the queue? Did everyone in the queue get in?

(Sorry for the millionn questions! )
Tilly W

Yeah didnt really need to get their til about 1ish though really, we where second in the queue, we where let into the building at 5.45 (obviously depends what time the show starts) as for everyone in the queue gettin in I have no idea im sure they did. I didnt go in with everyone else though, I went the back way, because the lady who got us ticket took us for a little tour around, Its an amazing place and we saw loads of their dressing rooms.
