Hi, i have a question regarding Synching/automatically updating the ipod.

As i purchased a second hand ipod, i dont have any of the existing songs on the pod in my library, so the owner told me to set it to manually update, otherwise the whole ipod would be wiped.

My question now is, as i have started to subscribe to podcasts, can i set it to automatically update these to my ipod every time i connect? Or will it wipe my whole ipod?

I just copied the whole ipod onto my PC using software i purchased on the internet . http://www.copypod.net/ . Then imported it all into itunes.

No automatic update problems after that
