Hi there,

I ordered a Linksys (Sipura) SPA-1001 well over a week ago from BroadbandStuff.com and they eventually came back today with the following:

Hi Mark,

Please accept my apologies. There appears to have been a stocking error in our system. Unfortunately the SPA1001s have gone into contraint with Linksys and we're unsure as to when we will receive more of them. We can change the order to an SPA2102 (http://www.broadbandstuff.co.uk/prod...roducts_id=831) if this would be suitable?
Does anybody know if the SPA-2102 is a good ATA, as I looked into the SPA-1001 and it seemed to get good reviews?

On the SPA-1001 I ordered it does say it has an FXS port on it (I must admit I don't know what this is and if I need it or not).

I'm just going to connect it to one phone line straight into my router running one Sipgate acount.

Thanks, Mark.

I had a reply from BroadbandStuff.co.uk yesterday to say that I would have to pay the extra for the SPA-2102, so I told them that I wanted my money back as soon as they took it, as they took the money when they did not even have it in stock!

I've gone for the Linksys PAP2-UK ATA for £46.18 (inc P&P + VAT).

I got it from IT247.COM if anybody is intrested, as it seems a good price:
