Yay My first Eastenders episode thread

Ben Celebates his birthday becoming the new owner of the video shop but the party turns out to be premature. Meanwhile Ian crashes the car in the market and accuses Phil of Sabotaging the car but then he retaliates by revealing Grant and Jane had an affair.

Another Brilliant Episode looks like it

Good episode tonight. Ian's face at the end was priceless!

Someone tell Minty to snap out of his little dream world please.

That shouldn't be a problem now that he is homeless, jobless and penniless.

Fancy trusting Pimp Sid with that money

The doctor seems all Wright

An OK Dean free episode. The ' extra' wasn't seen again. However his fellow extras were featured. Tracey was seen and Winston said 6 words

However, Honey is now

Brillant Episode.

It was brilliant watching Ian vs Phil and the car crash was so funny. SuperNaomi running out of nowhere. Poor Ian - he really should sue Phil.

Minty needs to wake up and realise SJ is taking him for a ride. He had about £3 left in his bank account because of her and now he can't pay Gus! Also he must feel so guilty!

It's nice seeing Honey and Billy with Petal aswell.

Overall great episode 8/10

Another terrible eppy. What is happening to my favourite soap? It's going downhill faster than Ian's out of control car.

Anyone else think that Minty looked like the lion from the Wizard of Oz when he was bouncing around the kitchen in his dressing gown?

The last 5 minutes were good. Whatever you think of Phil and Ian as characters you cant deny that they play their parts really well and were probably the best in tonights episode probably next to Billy. Honey and Jack just annoy me, the sooner Billy gets some balls and kicks that patronising old git out of his flat the better.

The Minty/SJ story is annoying. I actually want to see Minty ripped off he deserves it for being so damn stupid. They are obviously playing it that we are meant to feel sorry for him, because he's been lonley for years blah blah blah but all most people think is that he's a plonker who deserves everything he gets.

The acting from Phil and Ian has never been questioned. The problem is with the flimsy storylines.

Well this one is just a continuation of the problems between them really, it's just an opener to Ian finding out about Jane. Sadly it was the only good part of an otherwise really dull episode. It makes me laugh at how people suddenly think Emma Barton (Honey) is a great actress just because of her current storyline.

Emma Barton is a good actress imo and just because you don't think she is doesn't mean everyone elses opinion is wrong.

I agree with rubbermonkey2. She is (imo) a terrible actress who is lucky that she was selected (poor decision by the EE bosses (imo)) to take on this particular storyline which is guaranteed to bring her accolades through nothing more than sympathy from the viewers.

ummmm no I didnt say that, thats what opinions are. However I know people who have suddenly changed their minds about her because of this story line.

The proof of whether she is a "good" actress will come if and when she decides to leave. I cant see her doing a stint at the RSC, but she isnt the only soap actor I would say that about mind

Yes he IS terrible i'll give you that, i would rather have 30 minutes of the awful Honey on screen that 30 seconds of the unbearable Sean.

How many actors work after soap? Emma Barton has been in many a London theaters which is where she caught the eye of EE casting.

So? It doesnt mean shes any good. Sean caught the eye of the casting directors and they were wrong about him big time! You like her, I dont, different views are what make the world go round.

Sean is ok (imo). He is playing a one dimensional character so he looks, funnily enough, one dimensional. For terrible look no further than Honey and Deano. Who both look one dimensional but are supposed not to be. Funnily enough. (IMO).

I didnt say she was terrible I said she was awful, get it right if your going to have a go! and I have not said its fact, opinions on peoples acting ability are just that opinion. I dont have to say (imo) everytime, most people are capable of working it out for themselves. You like her fine, thats up to you I DONT, I think shes awful (not terrible).
