I have more Finnish suggestions. I mentioned Jonsu from pop-rock group Indica. Well, I don't listen to them, but I know that they almost always sing in Finnish, so they may be worth a look.
Also, if heavy metal is OK, check out Moonsorrow. Again, almost everything's in Finnish. They do ofte use death vocals though, so they may not be what you're after.

Apparently that's Mikhail Gorbachev saving Russia by shooting zombie communists with laser beams, turning all the young women into cheesy porn stars and doing fancy aerobics.

Based on this video I would never mess with her! Or check out the mickey take of the Diams video by Fatal Bazooka”
Is that person she's talking to a man or a woman or both?

I swear their appearance and voice keep changing. Or maybe that's just me.
While we're back on the subject of ridiculous things, earlier I mentioned Malice Mizer's
Gekka no Yasoukyoku. I love it now, but when I first saw it I thought that whichever member had written it must have been high on some substance never before consumed by humans (wallpaper paste blended with fool's gold, for example). I'm still not sure what's with the vocalist's action-man eyes, and why everyone else has only fixed expressions.
And yes, those lyrics are about right. This is a song about puppets coming to life.
