Does anyone have any idea what this year's stage will look like? I thought last year's was much better than in the first series, but I remember reading a while ago that Simon wanted it to be even bigger and impressive. What sort of look or design would you like to see?

I prefer the series 2 stage. The first one was too enclosed and claustrophobic.

The stage in series 1 looks too small.

Series 1 stage shape was not good for group performances in particular. Series 2 much better.

I'm very curious as to what the stage this year will be like! I prefered series 2 just because it looked bigger, and therefore it just made evrything look more 'important'.

So just over 24 hours to go and the set will finally be unveiled... I envisage a big X and lots of huge video screens!

the series 1 stage was awful! it was so weird, and having 2 really small groups of people between the shape of the x was a bad idea, and it looked a little bit tacky. I swear the audience capacity was only about 100 aswell. I think everything about the first series was cheap. the second series stage was MUCH better. I hope this year they make the audience even bigger as well as the stage, really glam it up.

Well if reports are to be believed the stage is a lot bigger this year.

For that money, I'm expecting Bruce Forsythe thrown in as well.

we didn't get to see much but the bits we did see did look rather good.

I think they should have a 180 degrees plasma screen behind them which opens up half way as a door, fantastic lighting and just a big massive see through glass floor stage with some stairs at either side to enter and leave.
