Fred is still brooding over Audrey’s confession. Bev is totally unaware of what is going on and is convinced he is worried about Ashley and Claire. Audrey feels uncomfortable when Bev calls into the salon to discuss hair styles and when Bev tells her how stressed Fred is she can’t help but ask if she thinks he will cancel the wedding. Who will Fred choose?

Rosie and Craig are feeling increasingly suffocated by Rosie’s family interfering in their lives and start to discuss a life away from Weatherfield. As they talk about all the amazing places to visit in the world an idea starts to form in their minds and they come up with the hair brained scheme to travel to Paris after all – but then to run away to Berlin!

Ashley is emotional that Claire is returning home and wants everything to be just right for her homecoming. Claire is nervous about seeing baby Thomas but after an initial awkwardness she takes him in her arms and Ashley heaves as sigh of relief as it looks as though everything is going to be okay.

Elsewhere, Fiz is growing increasingly fed up with Kirk’s attempts to teach her to drive and, after spending her lunch hour driving round and round in circles, she storms off leaving Kirk bemused and confused.

Is David in his final year of secondary school? "They're not going to bother chasing me just for the sake of a couple of months"

Even if he is in his final year that's wrong as you can't legally leave school until the last Friday in June and exams aren't until April-June time.

A couple of months, do you mean until July?

You leave on the last Friday in June as your exams are done by July but you may have one or two left to take so you'll go back for them. You don't leave in a couple of months time though like David said and you'd think that the writer would have checked that.

I am going to HAVE to get a TV license sorted for next week. I've not watched a live episode of a soap since I started university three weeks ago and I don't want to miss anymore! The Corrie updates are very good though. They almost make me feel like I've seen the episode, unlike the bland EE ones.

I don't understand why Rosie & Craig are so against going to Paris if they are the cultured people they made out they were to Cilla & Yana. Along with Rome, there are probably more cultural attractions in Paris than any other city in the world! Has it actually been filmed on location in Paris? It would be really good if they have.

I love Cilla & Yana - they are so well written. There are so many people out there who just go on holiday for the sun & eat nothing but burgers, fry-ups, fish & chips, etc. I've come across people like that myself even in countries as exotic as Thailand & Egypt. I loved it when someone asked Les & Cilla if they ate paella in Spain & they said "no, you get real food like fish & chips now - none of that foreign muck!".

Awww, Fred, Fred, Fred. I can barely watch him these days knowing what tragedy is about to strike. Need to get my license sorted though. No way can I miss it!

OMG am I the only one who thinks Rosie's "acting" is terrible tonight Usually she isn't too bad but it sounds like she's reading her script for the first time, and what's with the lapsing into a posher accent every so often? The Rosie/Craig stuff is crap at the best of times, but tonight is too rubbish for words. Let's hope they both bog off to Berlin for good. Even Cilla and Les have been better to watch than Rosie and Craig.

Are we going to see a storyline involving Gail getting prosecuted for David's truancy?
