maybe he went away and thought about how bad he treats her. if he thought about it long enough he'd realise that he pushed her into sleeping with Grant. Maybe the proposal is the start of something new for Ian and Jane ???

Wouldn't be surprised, there is no way Ian will just forgive and forget. Maybe he plans to jilt Jane at the altar or something? Or tell everyone what she did mid-ceremony?

I think Jane sleeping with Grant is unforgivable personally. I could understand her wanting to escape Ian if it was some gorgeous, charming bloke who wooed her into submission with the promise of a better life. Instead she went for a bald-headed thug who smarmily bobbed his head up & down few times at her in order to get his leg over!

I was told today he's gonna humiliate her at the altar or something - or could he take all her assets/money in a repeat of the Laura thing.

I think it would be good if he gives her her comeuppance but they got back together after.

I hope they can work things out.
I don't want Grant to ruin this relationship. |

![]() Then again you only have to look at Ian's previous 'relationships' to realise he can't hold onto a woman, they've all done the dirty on him at some point. |

Yeah. Has he ever thought why?! 1 or even 2 people cheating on you is unlucky, but how many is it now?! Cindy, Mel, Laura, Jane, I think Sharon cheated on him with Wicky as Cindy did, am I right?
Anyway, I get the feeling they are going to do a repeat of the Laura situation (bar the pregnancy). It's horrible to watch when Ian turns into a psychopath, it's freaky! Watching him tonight, he had such a calm sinister look on his face, it's already beginning. |

Then again you only have to look at Ian's previous 'relationships' to realise he can't hold onto a woman, they've all done the dirty on him at some point. The time Ian and Jane started to crumble is when the Mitchell's came back, they have been used as a side kick to make the Mitchell's look good. Well for me it hasn't worked. They took Jane out of character and tbh it was hardly worth it, the storylines they had were rubbish. Ian and Jane IMO do have a relationship and one worth holding on to, I think Ian will come to see that. I'm not sure what he's got planned, but revenge would be to obvious, it's happened so many times before that I'm sure this time it's going to go in a different direction. How many times can Ian be the loser in love, especially this time, as Laurie said recently in an interview in Inside Soap, 'if Ian's going to make it with anyone it'll be Jane'. I hope she's right because they have got so much potential as a couple and as a family, it'll be a shame to throw it all away.

Then again you only have to look at Ian's previous 'relationships' to realise he can't hold onto a woman, they've all done the dirty on him at some point. Ian and Jane were originally one of the best soap couples I've ever seen. Sure, Ian treated her like dirt even back then, but it was a give-and-take relationship which worked on both sides and had plenty of chemistry...... .......and then along came Grant. Suddenly Ian and Jane's relationship was, ahem, conveniently written as a one-sided disaster, and Jane's character was totally undermined to suit the affair storyline. If all this Grant stuff can just be resolved, I'm hoping Ian and Jane's relationship can be restored. |

As Ian has been burnt so many times by women, you can forgive his attitude to them. So if it is so bad why the heck would they go off to someone Grant Mitchell ?
