This worked pretty well last year. Here's the rules:
Each couple starts out with 10 points. On your go you can remove one point from one couple and add that point to a different couple.
When a couple's points reduce to 0 - they are eliminated.
You can only 'vote' again when five other people have voted.
(The total scores should always add up to 140).

Emma & Darren 10
Georgina & James 10
Jan & Anton 10
Jimmy & Flavia 10
Louisa & Vincent 10
Mark & Karen 10
Matt & Lillia 10
Mica & Ian 10

Ray & Camilla 10
