I couldn't take my eyes off Camilla and Ray was such a smooth mover. They must be a sure bet to get to the semis or further ...

They were among my favourites.

Utterly spellbinding, marvellous. They were connected, they had style, they looked fantastic. That came out of nowhere - I knew she would be good but didn't expect him to be so fab.

I hope they will go all the way before being beaten in a close final by Anton and Jan

I have a mental block on Ray from his role in Corrie - i am trying very much to get over it as he is clearly a great dancer.
However I also have an issue with Camilla as i always get the impression she feels she has the divine right to win.
But they look good together and can dance.

I haven't a clue who Ray is as I've not watched Coronation Street so I guess I'm lucky there. Is he still on it? I may be forced to watch! hehe

I don't think Camilla has always come across on TV as well as she comes across in real life... I met her on two separate occasions this past month and she is just the most lovely genuine person. I was so surprised as I had different expectations of her after watching her for several years on Strictly.

Tonight.. together.. they were electric

They were the best tonight and i was really surprised because in the clip i saw of him he looked really bad! Paech im afraid he is not in corrie anymore.

I met Camilla in April and expected her to be really cold and standoffish. Not a bit o fit. She was lovely, genuine, interested and full of passion for dance. Now she has a partner she could win with.

Oh good... that means I don't have to watch corrie cause I really don't like it hehe

Camilla could go far this year imo, now she has a partner that can really dance.

Another of my faves tonight. Really a couple to get excited about. Ray is excellent and while he might be great at Latin, it'll be interesting to see how the Ballroom comes across.

They looked hot together though... really easy on the eye for everyone I'm sure... and a high standard for week 1. Very exciting - imagine what we'll see on the show in 3 months?!

Camilla has always been close but not in the final and I think perhaps the producers decided to give her someone good this year and see what she does... but is anyone else seeing the 'are they romantic?' card being played again this year?

Oh I should imagine that may become a factor! hehe

James looked lovely in the audience... he really looked like he was loving being there.. .must have been hard watching Ray dance with Camilla though.

Good that so many of the past contestants show their support for the show

I think after having David Dickinson in Series 1 Camilla has at least 5 series worth of good guys to be given! He was a nightmare!

I agree Peach -it's testament to the show to it's loyal following from all those involved. Isn't it sweet to see people like Dennis in the audience. Like old friends!

I really enjoyed Ray and Camilla tonight. He may not have been the best dancer technically, but for me it was the most watchable performance.

I just played back the recording (Yay to my new HDD DVD recorder!) and it was even more exciting the second time.. I skipped chapters and the performances that made me want to watch them again were Ray & Camilla's.. and Mark & Karen's.. much as I enjoyed Mark & Karen's performance... I think I enjoyed Ray and Camilla more tonight. The energy and connection between them both while they danced was electric to watch.

I was amazed at Ray - he has great hip movement.

They were fabulous! Camilla's the best! I love her in training footage. And I love her ability to make all her male celebs turn into obediant little puppies! Is there no end to her talent?

I was getting ready to go out and loved camilla and rays proformane thought they were amazing
