My OH actually took note when they were dancing.

He was impressed, thats from someone who says he doesn't like to watch SCD.

The Dainty One did well with her guy, good to watch.

The Dainty One was stupendous !!! and Jimmy Tarbuck did well too. He was one of my favourites years ago!

Great! Another reason to watch Harry Potter hehe Any idea which one? I'll call my little sister, she'll know.

I must admit she REALLY sparkled last nite (even if I was slightly repulsed by the are/aren't they angle they introduced in the training footage). It'll be interesting to see what choreography Camilla comes up with now that she has a capable partner.

Very happy to see Camilla finally get a partner who seems to have some natural ability. Will definitely be supporting them.

I definitely enjoyed Ray and Camilla's contribution to the show last night. I feel that he is the first male celebrity in four series to really bring out the best in Camilla in terms of complementing her skills as a Latin American dancer. She seemed different and that is probably due to the new partnership that she is now creating with Ray.

He is a very smooth dancer and I look forward to seeing him improve. It might be early to say, but they will be among the frontrunners and they will help to increase the standard of dance in the competition.

They were amazing - I thought there was a real chemistry between them. Very sexual - couldn't keep my eyes off them

Along with Mark and Karen this couple are my early faves.

I've now watched their performance 3 or 4 times (had to test my recording!). I'm liking it more and more... there is definitely a very sexual chemistry between them. I liked the way Camilla smiled when he looked at her. It was lovely... she just looked like a Princess.

He's very sexy. I'd love to dance with him.

I've been thinking about him as the centaur in Harry Potter and can now picture him! I told my sister too and she thinks it was the first film only. I'm thinking he was a rather sexy centaur too

They are one of my favs this year so far (other being Spoony). Ray was such a good mover in the cha cha!

Are Camilla & James still together? Just wondered...

I really like this couple. Nothwithstanding the obvious contrast between the two, I think he has the ability to go the distance in this competition.

He carries himself well, oh boy can he move, and he engaged with Camilla through the routine.

I'm torn, becasue I thought that Mark Ramprakesh did exactly the same, with Karen.

I can see both these couples in the final.

Concerned to see Camilla looking so thin though. She has always been slender, but on Saturady her legs looked strange. Maybe James should cook her up something nice!

According to her interview in one of the papers she has been seeing her current bloke for a while - think pre scd3 -which didssapoints me somewhat as i was swept along with the whole love thing last year which in retrospect was obviously just a voting tactic. James also said on Richard & Judy recently that he had always been single. It raised his profile and kept them both in the competition until the semi finals - feel swizzed though as am a sucker for romance

Camilla is just brilliant-every step that she does is perfect along with her performing presence.

Did anyone know that she has a DVD coming out in the next couple of weeks with fellow SCD professional Ian Waite?

No, I think they had a bit of a fling and when she got too serious...he cooled off!!! I thought Camilla way really flirty with Ray!!!

I thought he was flirty with her too. She was acting all coy. It was very sweet.

Is Ray married? I know we saw his little girl. She looked adorable! I wonder if she'll get the Ballroom bug and take it up like Darren's kids wanted to last year.

Ray isn't married. His long-term partner was the actress Jane Gurnett (Rosa's mum), but I think they have now separated.

Despite his brief appearance in Corrie, he is known in the theatre world as an acclaimed Shakespearan actor (hence his lovely low voice), & was with the RSC for many years. He was the first black actor to play Othello at the RSC in 70yrs.

Apart from Harry Potter, he has been Kenneth Branagh's film version of 'Hamlet' & the film 'The Clandestine Marriage' - as well as the older boyfriend of Sasha in the teen series 'As If'. I think the centaur features again in Harry Potter 5, so he might appear in the next film too.

Anyway, he makes a great team with Camilla - I hope they go far !!

No chance of anything between Camilla & Ray not with her being all loved up with her Italian stallion!

I think Camilla is one of the best choreographers of the professionals. The tango with James last series was outstanding. And would love her to make the final this year.

But she does look thinner from last year.

I got to go on Saturday, It was Amzing and What I must say is how adorable Camilla is, During the rehearsal shes dancing around with her dress, So Cute, I was gutted not to get to meet her. If I was correct in saying Camillas Mum and Dad and her fiancee were in the Audience, and so was James and she gave a little wave to james which I found pretty adorable Love Her! Shes Fab! Theres chemistry when Ray and Camilla are dancing but otherwise no romantic link, she already has her Italian Guy! Ray and Camilla will go far. I also have to say James looked quite sad seeing her dance so well with another guy, I think he likes her, But that could just be me reading into things, James was always looking at her with loved up eyes, again that could be me loving a good romance but theres my take on things!

With you, Peach, on the fact that Ray/Camilla & Mark/Karen will be the couples to beat (on the male celeb end). Not sure for the women celebs, although I expect a lot from Emma/Darren & Carol/Matt...we'll see next week.
Ray & Camilla were mesmerizing from start to finish but so were Mark & Karen. They make a good fit in my book.
Also like the new formula of the show; with male or female leaving each week. Not too sure on the amount of couples though (14!!); it makes for a bit of a slow start to the show.
