Well, Peach. If the singing won't do, then a quick twirl with Camilla will knock 'em dead. Tried to watch but the compering wasn't up to much.

The compering is awful! But Brendan is in it (and that is the ONLY reason I am watching it!)

Well I can post in here too Though Brendan's thread is a lovely thread to be in too! I have to say... if it wasn't for Brendan I would NOT be watching the show... the interviews are annoying me soooo much... I can't believe they are wasting so much time using Tess & Vernon! Actually though.. saying that I'm loving Beverley Knight...and Jocelyn...(enjoyed Natasha too) don't think too much of the other singers..

I thought it was lovely that Camilla mentioned in that article that she also loved singing and had been doing some performances for charity. (as well as elocution lessons)

I agree it's a rotten show,and I would not otherwise watch it...but my heart is with Brendan in this venture,and I have to be there to support him!...and we won't talk about how much of my Birthday money I have spent doing so!

Welcome goldie1 and thank you for sharing that link....that's the interview I've been trying to think of and couldn't pinpoint where she talks about her singing lessons and all that they meant to her last year! Also BIG thanks to Camilla's sensible mum heh!......what if she'd never gone back to dancing lessons????.......doesn't bear thinking about !!!!!!

And just realised the champagne was for goldie1.... never mind.. I'll sneak some anyway (Have to say I love champagne better than wine any day!) I only had white wine last night as I used it in cooking (yes, ME, cooking - from scratch, from a recipe!!!!!!!) Usually I prefer red to white

Trying to remember what I saw Camilla drinking at one of the dances... I'm sure she had a drink in her hand... and positive it was white wine.... though actually now I think about it... not sure she did have a drink in her hand.. maybe that was just me! I'm really not that useful a person to have around am I?

Edit: Also have to say... that this was pre-liking Camilla time.. it was meeting her in person that made me like her so much (so I wasn't taking in those details then!)
