Did anyone else feel that there was more than just dancing going on?
She seemed a lot closer to him than James last year, or is it all an act for the cameras and to get more votes....I hope not as their dancing should be good enough.

Apart from Harry Potter, he has been Kenneth Branagh's film version of 'Hamlet' & the film 'The Clandestine Marriage' - as well as the older boyfriend of Sasha in the teen series 'As If'. I think the centaur features again in Harry Potter 5, so he might appear in the next film too.

Anyway, he makes a great team with Camilla - I hope they go far !!
How bonkers is that. How on earth could a non black actor play Othello when a considerable ammount of the action on Othello is about the fact that Othello is black. Either way I think he is amazing and Corrie could have done far more with his charachter

When I saw the clip of him at the Globe (it was the Globe right? I've not been inside the auditiorium yet.) Anyway... I thought I recognised him somehow... and now I remember him as the first black actor to play Othello... didn't remember his name but can remember his face now and picture him being in the news at the time. I prefer his Shakespeare look to the clips they showed of Coronation Street.
Thanks Starsailor06!

There actrually seems to be some disparity here. the RSC says that it has cast only black actors in the role of Othelllo since 1985, yet Ray Fearon's biography claims he is the first black actor since 1959 to play the role.

Ray may be counting other theatre companies - not just RSC?

Ok... it says on here that he was the first black actor to play Othello at the RSC Theatre in Stratford.

I guess that clears it up

I really like Camilla but have never been able to suport her because of the dubious dancing ability of her partners. I might just start to vote for her this year though I'm still keeping my optiong open as I've not seen the girls yet. She did good on Saturday, though.

I'm a new Camilla fan I turned to her and James last year after their lovely waltz (purely coincidence! Nothing to do with Bill going out that week!) His Ballroom WAS lovely but now she has a guy who can do Latin and hopefully with bags of potential.. fingers crossed his Ballroom is up to scratch... could do with watching them for a good 12 weeks yet

I agree, but this year she could have a real chance as Ray would appear to have the ability to be a fast learner and seem to have natural rhythm, unlike James who appeared to have two flat feet.

It looked from the training videos that he was... fingers crossed too

He also said something about dancing for Camilla so hopefully that means working as hard as she wants too!

I thought the same thing when I watched last night's show. Camilla's legs are too thin - they are the same width all the way up rather than her thighs being bigger. She seems straight up and down all over, really. I don't want that to sound cruel, but I'm sure she used to be curvier.

if you look on Camilla's website you will see that she trained as a ballet dancer and she definitely has the longest legs of all the professionals. Her legs aren't too thin, she doesn't have the build of the other professional female dancers.

Cant see what the problem is with two flat feet, I've got them and I dont have a problem dancing my ladies around the floor. Never had a complaint about stepping on my ladies toes either.

Camilla is lovely. She is soooo thin or should I say slim. She is also the most lovely person. i had lunch in kensington with her and she was so lovely and natural and friendly. I will be voting for her this time. As Ian is out now she will be getting all my votes.

I have watched the trailer for The magic of Dance and it promises to be fab. I cant wait for it to be out on the 23rd.

Camilla & Ray could do with some votes on the Week 3 poll if any of you haven't voted yet. You can only vote once
