Can't wait to watch the highlights show tomorrow night... I hope they don't cut too much out of it!

I got home just in time for the results show and madly voted for my favourite 3 couples

Just watched the highlights show! I thought Ray & Camilla were fabulous - it was an absolutely electric routine!!!! Maybe.. just maybe... Len had a point that there wasn't enough content... but none of the other male celebrities had much content either bar Mark & Karen who I thought were on a par with Ray & Camilla. Ray & Camilla didn't seem to falter at all... I loved the opening and the way Ray's cape movements matched Camilla's skirt movements... my sister was watching it with me and she just kept saying "wow! Wow! Wow!" SHe said that they were the best of the night! I'm trying to be level-headed and think that they are perhaps on a par with Mark & Karen... and Carol & Matthew... but WOW! That routine was amazing. Well done Camilla! Loved it! Very striking choreography!

thanks Peachy, have been waiting for you to pop in. Certainly deserved a bit better marking than they got. Camilla always been strong in the Paso choreography as she was last year

Hate to say it but James & Camilla's Paso was not a patch on Ray & Camilla's when you compare (and James did a very good one!). I absolutely loved it! What fabulous choreography! I understand why Brendan was so mad after watching the whole show. Some of the marking was most unexplainable.. I'm going to post my full "Judge Peach" report in the scores thread.

quite agree, JM wasn't a patch on Ray last night but it will always, for me anyway, be Camilla's choreography and how she uses the music.

I hope they get to do Salsa next week. Viennese Waltz will be hugely hard and I'd kind of like to see 'Gorgeous Ray' strutting his stuff with the Salsa!

I thought they were fabulous on Saturday night! I was surprised they didn't receive higher marks from the judges, but then again the marking wasn't great throughout the evening.

Thing is though, Peach, he has to be good at the ballroom as well and sometimes people find The VW easier than others.

Yes I know you're right Lady Boz... the VW and Salsa are just SO different from each other. I worry about marks and the judges wanting it all to be 'dirty' and exciting. There's not too much you can do with the VW to make it 'dirty' and exciting. I love the dance but whether an audience of millions will find it as exciting as the Salsa, I don't know. The art in performing the VW comes from the smoothness and elegance of spinning round the Ballroom... not easy for the male celebs to do... we'll see. Come on Ray! You can do it!!!!

AW poor Camilla tried so hard not to start sobbing backstage but just couldn't keep it in - don't blame her Loved that when ITT showed her backstage in one of the dressing rooms, she was uber supportive of Brendan's outburst Spoony was adorable to her too

Glad you loved their paso Peach!

Ray in a beauty contest!!!! Didn't he look embarrassed?

Well on ITT he was, but in the photo he looked quite proud of himself!

Not that I was looking much at his face, and the hair wasn't good either....but the bod......wowser!

He looks better now though, and such a nice bloke!

Seems happy about the VW, chance to do a more flowing dance and play the romantic hero instead of all the stompy macho characters!

Their VW training footage looked great! His posture was amazing! Lady Boz you were right to be confident about their doing Ballroom

And Camilla... THANK YOU for saying what you thought about Saturday night. Well done for having the courage to be truthful!

I'm liking them more and more as a couple. Camilla's fabulous, she's really sweet! I can't wait for their dance on saturday night, the training looked really good.

Last year's V Waltz, with Camilla & James Martin, was one of the most enjoyable dances of the series, in my opinion. I replayed it over and over. Very much looking forward to this week.

I can't wait for their dance on Saturday. I love them both. Camilla is such a graceful dancer and Ray is sooo good.

I felt so sorry for Camilla on Saturday night. She's so passionate about her dance and it must be gutting when they don't get good reviews.

Ray ios rather smart in his training footage isn't he! shirt and tie, very nice.
I am not surprised that he won a male beauty contest, he is a lovely looking man.

What did the judges actually say? I only saw the highlights show so I'm assuming their comments were cut as I saw a tiny clip last night that I thought was Len saying something negative that I didn't see in the highlights show. I saw him saying that there wasn't enough Paso content in it for him.

TeresaAL I agree. Ray looks very smart and very swish in the training videos

I think it was more a case of - nice comments, but low marks...also Len wasn't very impressed.

Must be hard, you spend ages training, you get 5 minutes to do the dance and then you can be out!

I have a feeling that Ray and camilla may get the best scores for the vw but I maybe very wrong
