Favourite album of 2006?
Maybe a little early, there's a few months left yet, but if you could list your top 5 so far...
After everyone's stopped fighting it'll be december anyway, and we can list the DSF top 5 albums of 2006. |

If I had to pick one, it would probably be One Day It Will Please Us to Remember Even This by The (New) New York Dolls.
I might come back and change my mind though. Depends what comes out and what mood im in. --EDIT-- Oh right, sorry, I missed the whole "Top 5" thing! I'll think about it. Last edited by The Chief : 08-10-2006 at 00:11. |

Hot chip was inconsistent. Tilly & the Wall and The Dears are both v. good too. |

Joanna Newsom - Ys
This thread is too early imo but 'Ys' is so incredible that it's a no-brainer for me this year. |

Endless Wire by The Who.
It's not actually out yet, but I'm confident it will be album of the year. |

Moloko's "Best Of" by a mile.
Christina's "Back To Basics" is the non-hits collection album I've bought this year. |
