I'm not too sure about a fifth...Chili Peppers released a good album. I liked Giant Drag's debut and Thom Yorkes' album's pretty amazing. Hot Chip's The Warning is also great.....as is The Strokes. I like Plan B's album too.
I bought Keane's and Snow Patrols new albums but I've not listened to them enough yet. Love the duet with Marta Wainwright on SP. And A Bad Dream is fabulous on Keane's album.

I think I need to go and give this question another think

2. Christina - Back To Basics, also her best album.
3. Beyonce - B'day. Dangerously In Love was better, but B'day still rocks

Janet's '20 Y.O.' and Jessicas's 'A Public Affair' are good too

Also this year I have enjoyed listening to Skin-fake chemical State (was a BIG Skunk anansie fan), Lostprophets-liberation transmission, Placebo- meds, Kasabian- Empire, Artic monkeys, taking back Sunday, Pink, amongst a few.

Was not impressed with The Guillemots (dont understand the hype), and have just got the new Goo Goo Dolls one, and it sent me to sleep!
