Yes I think so. Sounds like the reporter didn't have much of a clue. The BBC weren't planning an It Takes Two show... they were HAVING one. I don't think the reporter knew much about the show.

It is probably true as there is some contractual ruling about this. For example ,all soap stars get paid extra if their soap shows an omnibus...that is why the cast of Corrie were all up in arms when their omnibus got axed.
