I do think that perhaps the Producers are giving the more seasoned dancers the better celebrities though and leaving the newer dancers the ones with the least likely chance of making it through. Hard on the new dancers but also hard I supposed for the regular dancers if they are out in week 1.”

I disagree I'm afraid, Vincent is opartnered weith Louisa who is young, fit , is in a high profile TV prog, has attended stage school with dance training & won an award voted for by the public - I'm not a great fan of hers but it seems lots of people are.
Also on paper James partner Georgina looks a better bet than Jan as she is in a top rated show, very attractive with a great physique, there was no way that someone could predict she would be onwe of the weakest dancers.
Ola's partner spoony seems to have great rhythm, although he isn't as well known. Ithink it fairly hit & miss with the exception of whoever had the obvious non winner the previous year (gloria hunniford) is given a partner with good odds

Point taken .... I was thinking more in terms of Flavia being given Jimmy and Nicole being given Nicholas (though I know she has been before). Ok.. so I guess I'm thinking of Flavia.. but you never know with Jimmy's fanbase and the "ah" factor they may last a good while. So let's just ignore my last post

I can see where you were coming from because Flavia has had a bit of a raw deal & Nicole had skipped series 3 so a lot of people may not remember her. You never can tell though - she got quite far with Diarmond gavin even though he was a terrible dancer, the same might happen with tarby, especially with Bruce bigging him up all the time

I agree, I can see Tarby becoming the Ballroom Bill of this series. I would love Flavia to achieve some great results with him, but I get the feeling that Latin will prove a bit of a stretch for him.
