Get On With It !!!

Sometimes soaps drive me to near distraction.... I know they have to build up a storyline.... but there are times when you just want to fling something at the screen and get to the conclusion of a story once and for all..... At the moment.... if Richard Hillman is not caught soon, and they finally put that story to bed I will lose my reason. Its been a great story, great plot, but there are only so many times... you can see Gail not talking to her mother, or Audrey accusing Richard of something, or Richard talking his way out of things. There is over egging the cake with some plots... and its getting to that point now with Richard. Its time to finalise it pretty sharpish and get on with it. Remember that other wonderful baddie in Corrie..... Alan Bradley..... and the marvellous conclusion when he fell under the tram at Blackpool... after terrorising Rita.... NOW thats good soap... edge of seat stuff and a conclusion. I dont call sitting down with Emily and sharing a sherry as she snoozes mind blowing stuff for christmas. I know how Emily felt..... bored stiff sitting with him so she had a kip. Scriptwriters please... we need a jump off the seat, cushion in front of eyes with terror moment fast !!!!

I agree completely: they're milking the story for all it's worth and it's beginning to drag on beyond plausibilty.

I agree if this storyline was on another soap like EastEnders for example then this storyline would of been finished weeks ago!

I am now starting to get bored stiff with Corrie now................The whole Richard thing makes the kat, zoe, ant thing on EastEnders look like a work of art.

Erm thats finishing next week because the ee producer Louise Berridge said that storyline was a lose end that should be tied up straight away!

Thank god for that

Patience, people! Don't you read the spoilers on DS? If not, I'll not spoil things for you, but let's just say that Richard's next victim will fall on 13th January so not too long to wait now.

Presumably it won't be too much longer after that before he gets his comeuppance.

Yeh i know that then we will have to wait possibly another year until he is caught.

Corrie better do things fast before the ratings go down

TBH, im sick of it all.........its just going to be richard with his "evil" looks across the rovers bar towards audrey and norris sitting in the "snug"......

i think he should go back to being mr hopwood in grange hill.....the story line of him and "michelle fowlers" exam options fiasco was much better than the stuff going on in corrie at the mo.

Obvuiously Granada are milking the story as there rating compared with Eastenders has a lot of catching up to do. I prefer Eastenders although if that was a real place, who would want to live there when virtually once a month someone get's killed, well almost anyhow.
