Does anybody have any info on Take That's new single? Gary was on Jonathan Ross and said it was getting played on Chris Moyles' show on radio one on tuesday but I've heard nothing about the title or what its like.

Can anyone help?! Can't wait for the DVD release of their tour, best night of my life!

The single is called "Patience". The album is called "Without You". The album is out next month, and the DVD of the tour is out later this month. See here.

Not their official website (here) then. So which one did you go to? If you know of a link, please post it - it's only good manners.

So why don't you just help everyone and post a link to the specific thread you're talking about?

Just heard this on Radio One, and i thought it was really good. Wasn't sure what to expect, thought their old style would sound dated and if they tried a new sound it just wouldnt work. I was wrong. A very "modern" sounding song with a great chorus - i was VERY impressed. Had hints of Daniel Powter/James Blunt etc influence.

I heard it this morning too and though it was more Embrace rather than Blunt/Powter. Either way I think it sounds good!

It's such a bland tune, if you judge it on the song itself not the band who front it. Sounds like a thousand songs that have gone before

It was obvious listening to Moyles this morning that he thought it was bad

Doubt it, Moyles has always had a secret affection for the band and goes back to the days of when he was the Hot FM Network (Chiltern, Horizon etc)

I heard it this morning and I liked it, but wouldn't say I loved it. It may be a grower though.

I think they said the title of the album would be Beautiful World.

Single released on November 20th and album Nov 27th.

ang on, just because he liked the band and their sound when they were at their peak, doesn't mean he should like the band less Robbie Williams now and surely whether he likes the people in the band is irrelevant, liking a song should be based on the song itself??!!

I think Moyles faked that he liked it becuase they were guests on his show and if he couldn't have said it was bad to their faces on the biggest morning show in the UK. Moyles said the song was 'nice' which is slightly better than saying the track was 'interesting', - in music industry nice means bad, so i don't think Moyles digs it.

anyone disagree?

Hang on mister yourself! He's always been a fan of (or admired) Take That from the 90's from his days pre Radio 1. Whether Robbie is in the band now or before is irrelevant to what I posted and about todays show.

I agree on that a song should be on merit on the actual show rather than whos singing. As for Moyles liking it or not or how we can take his version of "nice" will only be his call. Although with Moyles, the only way will be if he digs it over the next few days!

I heard the single on Chris Moyles show this morning. He said it was a real grower and that it's a great single!!! Big improvement on "nice" which was how he descibed it yesterday.

I was expecting something really upbeat and fun but it just sounds like James Blunt

Now that's a lie. It's like Blunt crossed with Tunstall.
