I think the opposite is just as annoying as well - when someone criticises someone or a particular dance and then someone pipes up with "yes but my friend's-cousin's-hairdresser's-sister knows them and they are really nice", (usually about one of the pro's). I'm sure they are all lovely really, but it doesn't mean we have to like how they come across on screen or their dance on a particular week!! I know sometimes people are a bit personal, but sometimes a fair criticism gets the same response and by that standard just so long as someone is nice everything they do is infallible!
