Who is this 'we' that you speak of? The kid should just step the f87k down and go about his buisness. He shouldn't bother try again. He'll never be able to sing live.

I think he could be very good, but he's his own worst enemy really, which was very evident in this last bootcamp episode - he puts more stress on himself than anyone else. If he can calm down a little, I think he could do well next time.
(Err, in case it's not clear , I do like him, and think he did very well to get so far.)

Tut tut tut
The 'we' as mentioned in my last post, are the people who appreciate Shaun. This is the Appreciation Thread, in case you were mislead!

Yes her was cute, yes he could sing in tune.....but he didnt exactly have a great voice. And with those nerves could you really see him on stage live every Saturday night?
How would he survive in the fickle cut throat music industry...he cried jsut singing in front of Simon & Sunitta. He was there purely for the "entertainment, soap opera" side of the show and they had no intention of putting him through...they jsut couldnt have risked it. He also sounded like Orville or a mini Ashley Peacock from Corrie |

Shaun was on Sharon's tonight. She asked him to come back and sing at a later date.

Well done Shaun. Don't beat yourself up over not showing you have any ability. You certainly had the ability to stand in front of Simon Cowell and the tv crew and sing your best. Its more than a lot of people could do.
I know, I for one, would not have the guts to stand up there and open up myself to criticism from anyone. You have come on "leaps and bounds" from your first audition. The best of luck with your future, you still have your whole life ahead of you. Don't worry about negative comments as you'll always have the begrudgers out there. Again, well done mate, you proved you had the right stuff. |

I really liked the lad, obviously at this stage in his life he didnt have what it takes to get through but if he keeps his personality traits and can rid his nerves, he will no doubt be able to wrap people around his little iddy biddy finger

Absoloutely agree with you Sunnyd. He wasn't ready this year. But he certainly has a great little personality and a nice voice (once he got going). Be interesting to see if he auditions again next year.
He needs to get out there performing in pubs/clubs and get some experience in front of audiences. You could see he was improving toward the end of the auditions. |

Aww Sean was lovely!!...I think he was too young to handle everything. Thats why he got so nervous. He will probably go back to the x factor next year

A friend of mine heard on the radio ( radio merseyside) that Simon had signed him up, but I was unable to find any evidence that this is true. personally i think he really needs a lot more experience to get to grips with his nerves, but as a recording artist I think he would be fine in a studio!

Shaun was on Sharon's show with The Brothers, and Mark Hudson. she told him he was now much more grown up and confident and what a lovely voice he had. She then asked him to come back and sing and he said he would.
