Last night was a bit close for Carol and Matthew so it's time for the tartan army to satnd up and be counted !

Remember last year, Colin & Erin suffered a lack of exposure on ITT because they based themselves in Wales ? It meant that a lot of people were unaware of their commitment and what a great partnership they had.

Well, let's make sure that doesn't happen to Carol just because she's training in Glasgow !!!

Ok, let's set a date. Having looked at the Saturdays more closely I realise I am working in the morning of both 2nd and 16th and will be lying in the sun in Mallorca on 23rd.

I could prob get to Edinburgh for 1.30, or would people be free on a Sunday to discuss the previous night's show?

Basically, anything works for me, although I think your idea of meeting on a Sunday is a good one- I'm always up for dissecting the night before's show!

And we are almost back to hideous Thursday nights!!

I will be totally selfless tomorrow.....make sure the tea is out of the way, MissPlum and MrPlum packed off to the other room with some bribery sweets and then sit down with me pad and pen and totally scrutinise ITT and do some jottings for the lovely Scottishers who miss out. (Bah humbug BBC )

It will be a sacrifice, but I am ready to fight the good fight for you all..............

(Waffling on now and thats without gin! -I worry me sometimes I do)

Cheers, Stephanie.

As regards our meet up, what about Sunday 10th? The Christmas market should be in full swing, the reindeer should be in the gardens, and if the weather's foul, they do the best hot chocolate and cake ever in the history of the world in the City Arts Centre.

That works for me too: I have an exam the next day, but considering I'm basically guarenteed to fail the subject anyway I figure I may as well take a break and do something fun!

Sorry all - my wee report thingy will be very tardy - you'll probably know all about ITT by now! I have an BRILL excuse though - I haven't seen it myself yet!!

My little brother (he's 25 but still little to me ) and his lovely wifey had a little boy today - 6llb 12oz so I dashed off to the hospital for a nosy. Totally gorgeous

Will try and watch it soon but hubby beat me to the remote and the darts seem to be on

Congratulations Auntie Stephanieplum.

What is your little nephew called?

Thanks Libby - he's called Ross Totally scrummy. Almost makes me want to have one more.........

Anyhoo....firstly on ITT tonight was a behind-the-scenes glimpse ofthe CIN video. Emma was dressed as a french maid, Louisa and Vincent were in Lederhosen, Darren was James Bond (alongside models in their pants )
Karen and Mark were GI's, Lilia was a bunny girl, Erin a showgirl (what a figure that girl has!) Jan a 20's starlet Anton as the milk tray man (complete with balaclava) and Brendan was in a tuxedo surrounded by more models in pants. They are showing the vid on tuesday. Looks great.

A short interview with Emma and Darren followed. They have only had 2 days training this week and Darren seemed a bit concerned. Emma still battling with nerves and she says that it makes her make silly mistakes on the night. Darren says that when she is nervous she adds steps or misses out random things!
A little montage of clips of Louisa talking about Emma and how great she thinks she is (was quite sweet)
Claudia reckons that if Emma could organise a Spice Girls reunion in Louisa's kitchen, then Louisa would have a "suspicious" fall and put herself out of the comp. She would be that excited!! She loves the spices does Louisa.

Next up was "voice of the red button" Phillip Jackson. What a nice man! Claudia showed him some footage of this weeks training so he could comment.

Louisa and Vincent - there was lots of opening before taking "hold" Her posture wasn't too good, they were joined at the chest, and it should be from the diagphram apparently!
Jan and Anton - They had good posture
Ray and Camilla - Good cape work, although his arm lines have to be worked on, so they lead beautifully from his body.
Mark and Karen - He was leading beautifully, but again his arms and body need to be better connected
Matt and Lilia - Moves were very dramatic and he could tell there was charisma between them (and imo, I was really impressed with their training - looks really good)
He is most looking forward to watching Louisa and Emma from the girls, but there is not much to choose between the boys for him.
Claudia then showed a clip of Len (wearing a "romper suit") doing a jive from about 1970ish

There then was a clip of Jan and Anton's training. Jan was very upset as she felt Anton was taking the mickey when she didn't know her steps. She ran crying from the room, he followed her out and was saying that she would be good. She said that she didn't want to be "good" she wanted to be "great" and to feel like she was actually good at something. Bless her.

Last of all Peter and Erin were on. Peter said he wasvery nervous on saturday, but enjoying the experience! He stuck up for Jan and said it was unfair to show that footage as all of them are feeling that but it doesn't always get caught on camera. Claudia showed a picture of Craig that they had morphed into Frankenstein for his comments about their tango. He giggled at this and said he wanted a copy!
Erin brought Ian into Paso training to help Peter use his height and build to his advantage (ian is taller than him apparently) Ian danced his routing through which Peter said helped as he had something to picture in his mind as to what it should look like.
There was clip at the end about how careful Peter is with his "training shoes" and his "match-day shoes" He cleans them, covers them in vaseline so they don't stick together and gave Erin a row for standing on them!!
Erin's comment was "I think he sleeps with them under his pillow" Liking these two a lot!

Waffled on enough now - it's not the same as getting to watch it but hope it helps a bit............
