Oh dear... He puts Brendan in a good light doesn't he?!

But I will remain impartial, it's fair enough to expect your celeb to put the effort in and if she;s not then I don't blame him for going off on one. Brendan got a lot of bad press for the way he acted sometimes with Sarah/Fiona but I could see his POV and still liked him. A lot of people will probably start saying bad things about James but I won't be one of them!

they will be first out this week

Let's hope it's just a clash of egos. Early days yet to be walking out. isn't he married to Ola?

James certainly seems to be getting the bad press at the moment. Who knows if its him being too demanding or whether Georgina isn't putting enough effort in. It will be interesting to see them dance on Saturday if its true they aren't practising. She came late into the show as a replacement for Gabby so I would have thought they'd need to do all the practice they could together

Unless she suddenly gets a lot better (from what I saw of her nearly falling over at the end of the mambo she wasn't looking too good) or gets such a mauling from the judges that she picks up the sympathy vote, I expect they'll go first too.

She's not exactly well known and he's a new pro. Same thing happened with Matt and Siobhan last year.

I think either Georgie or Mica will go first. I hope it's not Carol, Claire or Jan anyway!

What do you mean? It's nothing to do with their male partners *at all*!!! Erm *cough*

Got to say from what we saw on Saturday, Mica looks a prime candidate for the first woman to go.

I also think on first site Georgie's partner does look a bit frightening and far too competive for SCD

Doesn't sound like they're getting on very well! Although if she was an hour late for training without good reason she should have expected some reaction from him

She was making a big fuss about some Maltesers on the BBC2 ITT show, a bit over the top I thought.

I think Georgina was the weakest on Sat in group Mambo, I dont want Emma, Jan, Claire, Carol, to go because I enjoyed them.

I think 'Malteastergate' (as I like to call it) has developed into a big mess. But I have to wonder how much of it is true.

We should all know from reading all the Strictly stories over the years that a lot of it is not 100% accurate!

this is not the first article about her quitting training, it was in the sun on mon and there is a link in georgina quits to that article, it looks like Jmaes can be pretty awful it also mentions the kiss he stopped ola giving spoony at the end of the routine, the boy doesnt seem very secure!!
I feel sorry for Georgina, its worse than Brendans strops in the last 2 series!!!

I remain to be convinced about James - especially after his fuss about Ola and Spoony's routine - Ola wasn't allowed to kiss him at the end.

Of course, I might just be too cynical, but any publicity is good publicity, so they say...........

I don't think it's that unreasonable to not want your wife to kiss another man. It's not like it's an absolutely essential part of a performance. Plenty of other couples managed to have chemistry in their dance without it.

IF what's been said in the Sun is true then it's likely that they will be first to go I mean to quote the article...

"...Insiders said James was so angry that he kicked a chair across the room.

He told bosses: “I am cancelling practise with her.

“I’d do anything to make the show good but I’ve got the laziest cow ever.”

When Georgina finally arrived, James unleashed his temper — and she fled to the toilets in tears...."

It makes Brendan look like a pussycat! As far as I know he's never attacked any furnature and still even after Rumbagate with Sarah managed to pull a dance out of the hat.

If James would do anything for the show he'd suck it up and practise so they could performe as best as they can on Saturday - honestly men!

Does this mean that SCD has it's new bad boy and will make Brendan look good for a change...

*Crosses fingers and prays this will happen*

Then again if they will be first to go then they'll be right back on poor Brendan...

Her 'falling over' at the end of the Mambo wasn't her fault Mica tripped her up, anfd I'm not blaming Mica cos she didn't mean to but she still did it

I feel really sorry for poor Georgie, she doesn't deserve to have such a horrible partner, and those of you that have said he makes Brendan look good you're so right, I suddenly have a lot of love for that man. He might have had his moments with Sarah and Fiona but he was never this nasty

I don't think it can be true - he won't get his fee if he walks out, surely? There could be more cynical motives. We love a bit of drama and maybe they think people will vote for Georgina if we feel sorry for her. Also, Brendan is enduringly popular despite his many fallings-out with his partners, and maybe James is trying to nick that bad boy crown and make a reputation for himself as fiesty and difficult at the same time. The public (including me) loves a villain.
