No GPRS on pay as you go yet. Might be availble some time in the future tho. No doubt it will cost more than contracts if and when this happens.

GPRS works fine on Orange Pay and Go - flat rate of £4 per Mb, charged as data is transmitted.
It actully works out cheaper then on some of oranges contacts, yah!

Will work on Vodafone Live handsets on pay as you talk - GX10 camera phone... but not on any other Payt handset compatible or not...

The signal reading is between 2 or 3 'bars' out of four on my Nokia 8310 - perhaps the sim update they sent me hasn't quite put the right settings in under the Services menu? I've checked against the details on their site and I can't spot anything wrong though... |

It's typical orange really, on my nokia signal strength goes from 7 bars (full) down to 2 bars depending on where I am in the house.
![]() The GPRS connection seems to manage ok though, only had connection lost once or twice in about a week. What error do you get? |

Well on mine, whenever I try to connect (it's set to access GPRS 'when needed' rather than always on) I get a screen with a stop sign in the top right corner along with the text 'GPRS conn. not available'. I havn't been far the past couple of days so I guess it might be possible not all phone masts support GPRS?

Sounds like the phone configured right anyway. Quote:

That could be possible, and some masts could be having capacity problems.
